With a ton of dedicated and menial work, you can turn these into a pretty nice polished receiver set.

I’m not saying it’ll turn out like chrome, but you can get them very, very pretty. And yes, if you do that, it’ll never be “Warrior Grade,” but I doubt most people who would do it are looking for that on a polished receiver set.
Arm or ally as it’s called now, had the m4e1 completed uppers on sale a month or so ago for $63 plus shipping. If you’re in no hurry for an upper I believe I’d wait for that deal to come around again. Just my thoughts
I’ve always been curious about trying that and then clear coat Cerakoting. I’ve wondered if long term wear would be a problem in the gun with no anodizing. Anyone’s thoughts?
