Forward assist is great for machine guns. Otherwise it is just extra weight. How many times have you used the forward assist on a semi AR and it worked?

For me , that was never.

I picked one of these up from this seller during the Black Friday sale. Every BCG I have tried in it is an extremely tight fit. So much so that gravity or even a hard shake won’t cause it to drop free. Anyone else experience the same issue?

Mine has a tight spot in it. Now it doesn't cause a problem, bit you can feel it when you move the carrier by hand with no spring pressure.

While I agree with the sentiment, you do know that it's Nimrod's birthday, right? Jesus most likely wasn't even born in December. December 25th is actually a pagan holiday that was taken over for whatever reason.
