Lucky enough to grab the carbine length before it went out of stock. Would have liked the Midlength but greatful I managed to grab anything at this price.

I previously purchased 2 midlength blems back during the original deal and it was a great investment, both rifles fired thousands of rounds no issue...

I hope maybe more "blemished" piston ARs from Adams Arms show up on Buds over the summer.... I would purchase another 3 of these easy if they show up again...

Sorry to everyone who missed out, I knew about it because of email notification, and even with that I missed the Midlength which I really wanted but was able to still snag the Carbine, very very excited!!

I missed this last batch by only a few hours. Anyone know if they'll be getting more in?

Just to make sure I'm reading right, this works fine with the standard MOE carbine handguard?

I have installed MagPul MOE furniture. The only thing I had to ensure is that the handguard is gaspiston compatible. Itll say if it is on the box. I believe those are gen2s.

Great buy
I retro-fitted my rock river rifle with the adams arms piston kit 4 years ago. Had well over 2k rounds with no issues or complaints. Wish they would have had this low of a price when i bought mine.

OH I forgot I also put some Magpul PRO buis for a total of $1150.00, without the magazines.I'm new to the AR 15 platform this will be a good starter rifle for me and my family to learn on.I will most likely buy 2 more, if buds still have them at this price. Then I will buy a PWS AR as I heard good things about them.Any helpful comments will be greatly appreciated.LONG LIVE FREEDOM AND OUR GREAT AND BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY!!!!

I ordered one on Friday received it on Thursday. You don't have to be a bud team member only if you want it shipped the same day. The lady that took my order was very polite and informative.I only found one very small scratch on the upper.I'm very pleased and will order again from buds.I'm in Houston TX.I have not shot it yet.I installed Magpul MOE accessories in flat dark earth.I'm waiting for a CMC flat trigger in flat dark earth,a rainier ambidextrous charging handle and a seekins aluminum trigger guard in the same color.I also ordered six Lancer AWF magazines from Botach for $59.99 in flat dark earth.I also ordered three SureFire 60 round magazines for $69.99 a while ago also from Botach,I'm very pleased with Botach.Shipping was fast I recieved the SF magazines in three days. The SF magazines fit perfect as do the Magpul magazines.I can't wait to shoot it!I also order my ammo from SGM Ammo from Stillwater OK.They are also fast I'm also very pleased with their service. I hope this helps you all out.

FYI- to reserve this rifle you must be a "Buds team member" which means you must pay another $29.95 to get this deal. It's a good deal still, but I won't do business with Buds/CTD, etc...(who gouged during the "evil black gun madness").

Excellent value for a great gun. Bought the mid and it is in great shape, looks almost perfect, one blemish. Buying another as it is that good a deal.

I got in on the Mid length model, no blemishes to be found. Picked up MOE handguard, grip & stk on sale at BCM for it bring to a sweet total of $680.

Will probably order the carbine, just for a safe queen / investment.

I put well over a 1000 rounds without lubing or cleaning. Half of those were herters and tulammo. no hick ups. ate it all up.

It's already in the safe, but I couldn't find any reason why it's a blemish. I didn't get any documentation with it, could be that my FFL accidentally removed it, but now I have no idea what the 3 piston retention positions are for. Can anyone explain?

Q. What are the adjustable gas settings for?
A. Our gas block is set up with 3 different gas setting that are easily adjusted by pressing down the detent pin and rotating the gas plug either clockwise or counter-clockwise. The 12 o'clock position is the full or open position and should be used with normal fire. The 1 o'clock position is the low or suppressed position and is best used with a suppressor on the firearm. The last 3 o'clock position is the off position and allows your AR to fire without cycling the action.

Mine arrived and the only thing I see is a small rub on the side of the barrel. I'm very happy with this purchase and have a Typhon Camo MagPul set to install as well as some flip ups.

Ordered one tonight and it is already in shipping status. My first order with Buds. Anyone know a reasonable source for a free floating hand guard on this mid length? I would like to keep it around $150 and do not need a ton of rail space (would favor low weight to rails) I was thinking the Samson Evolution 9 or 9EX. It that the right size or can you go larger? Any thoughts would be appreciated. I think that and a new grip MOE+ to match my LWRC and we will be good to go. I am interested in comparing it to my M6IC. I am sure I will appreciate both for what they bring.

Wish we could upload pics here. I got in on this deal first go around with the midlength and have since put Samson Evolution 9ex, 4" extension, 4" flash suppressor, magpul flip ups, CAA grip, RRA 2 stage trigger, and Magpul CTR buttstock on. Hopefully this works for you to see a pic. This was before that longer flash suppressor though.

I know Yankee Hill makes one. I got a bunch of them pretty cheap over the past few months at Cobra Tactical Systems. Sign up for their email special. They fit over the railed piston block too. I was gonna change mine but the plastic one is lighter. My rifle length shoots like a dream....and a tight pattern too.

i would go with the 9ex for middy! longest you can go with a railed piston block.

I ordered the carbine length for my first AR. Now I need to get some mags.

I purchased the mid length blem rifle. The only blem I could find is a scratch on the top corner of the lower receiver near the FCG. I cleaned everything and hit the scratch with a Birchwood Casey flat black paint pen, now it looks good as new.

I got mine last Thursday. The only "blemish" I can find is the flash-hider washer has a slight discoloration in the finish on the underside. I am actually surprised AA didn't just pull the flash-hider off and put a new freakin' washer on. Oh well.

My rifle length on this deal arrived last week and I cannot find a blemish unless its some small marks on the barrel that pretty much disappeared after oiling it down. For $599 its a great deal. I've been too busy to shoot it yet though. But its all quality parts with Adams Arms tatooed all over most of the parts (including BCG).

Rifle length? I only saw carbine and mid-length when this started.

Yes. They had both when this started a few weeks ago. I shot mine yesterday and was impressed. It is heavier on the barrel end though than my lightweight stuff.

For those who don't want to wait, you can get the 14.5 Pinned Mid Upper w/Magpul Guard for 538 about (Make offer on same site), then add an Anderson lower for $50, Blackhawk $29.99 @psa and buffer set for around $30/40. Little bit more but also not Blem. 650 approx with little extra... That's if you don't want to wait and a sure thing today.

After all the BS with the previous sale of this rifle being advertised with a mag and then being shipped without one and Bud coming on here and saying it was a mistake that it doesn't come with a mag and they corrected the mistake as soon as they caught it and notified everyone...yada yada yada. Anyone notice this ad once again states it comes with a 30 round mag? Does it mean they made a mistake again or does it mean all of us that bought it before got screwed out of a mag?

Buds website clearly says that it doesn't include a magazine. I don't know why it says otherwise here at slick guns.

I see someone has now corrected it in the description here at gun.deals, but it still indicates (at the time of this post) 30RD in the title.

No mag...didn't stop me from ordering 2 though, regardless of what error was made.

Its interesting that these carbines (which sold out in about a day) now have a "reserve item" at Buds.

I'm wondering if Bud's has worked out a deal with Adams to be the exclusive vendor of their factory blemish rifles?

Edit: stupid me - it says it right at the top of the page, "ALL RESERVE ORDER SHOULD SHIP BY THE END OF MAY"..

Reading? What is this "reading" you speak of?
