Description

This 9mm cartridge by Black Hills takes a different approach to self-defense with its 125 grain HoneyBadger projectile. The HoneyBadger looks like something you’d attach to the end of an electric drill, and it doesn’t work on a wholly different principle. As the HoneyBadger’s deep cut notches engage the soft tissue within a threat, they drive it outward to bring about absolutely massive cavitation. The ensuing wound channel is even wider than what a hollow point could have achieved, and because the HoneyBadger is made of solid copper it is consistently able to penetrate devastatingly deeply as well, even after having passed through a barrier. No one wants to get shot -- even fewer would want to get shot by a HoneyBadger.

This is a subsonic load which won’t issue a jarring crack as it exits the muzzle. That makes it especially suited for a suppressed weapon -- if you keep such an AR-15 in your bedroom, this round’s quiet report, great stopping power, and smooth feeding nose profile will benefit you tremendously if you ever have to count on it. Black Hills makes their ammo like the most persnickety handloader would, so you can take peace of mind from its superior components and just how impressively well it has been crafted.
