Cheaperthandirt had these @ 150$ months back...

I think CDNN (or another vendor) had them @ 160$...

Id like to wait until they come down to that price..

Though the combo (vented and 18.5" barrel) price that defender outdoors has right now isnt bad at all. 199$ if you like the bead sight.

Picked one up from CTD on the $150.00 sale plus $10.00 shipping. Transfer fee had me OTD for less than $180.00. It's built like a tank. Extra barrel at $199 is good too, if you have a use for it.

I have no regrets and would buy another.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago and found that it accepts just about any Rem 870 part. I got a deal on a 5 position stock and forend, machined aluminum side saddle, mag tube extension and machined off the front sight and drilled and tapped a hole for a screw in fiber optic front sight. Made a nice tactical shotgun for very little cash.

Okay if you cant live without the ghost ring sights. Pardners have been on here before as low as 125$.

I bought one from ctd for $125.00 shipped over the holidays.
Great shotgun for the price it has gone bang every time
The trigger guard is plastic and the trigger its self is metal if I'm not mistaken
Not at home to verify about the trigger
Ooo well I'm happy with this one

CTD had them on sale for $125 shipped over the holidays, had to look past the boycott on that one.

My thoughts exactly and the 982 I got from them is now wearing some nice Magpul furniture. Barring another Firesale from CTD this is the cheapest price shipped I have seen for this shotgun.

Yep, it's plastic. I bought one from Bud's before Christmas and I can confirm that they have changed. Now the trigger guard and assembly is plastic (just like Remington's). Other than that it's well made, goes boom just like it should and still a bargain in my opinion.

read that trigger guard and trigger components were now plastic/polymer on iac hawks?
Anyone know? I've otherwise heard nothing but great things about them.

I also want to know about the changes if they have taken place. Anyone have any input?

last year these were as low as $179 shipped, they are great shotguns for the money, but nowhere close to Mossberg 590, the only shotgun you will need :)

Your right those are 870's... they should use the Benelli M1014 IMO

I love those mavricks... i havent seen one in a while.. best truck gun for the money I had one in 12.. the only thing that blows is the inability to swap the foregrip without serious modification.

correct, these are copies of the 870, many parts are interchange-able, however, my personal choice is 590A1
