Definitely tempting at that price point, best I've seen, but I havent even paid the credit card bill yet on a Girsan Regard Gen3 Far Dot, that was $200 cheaper and already has the optic mounted from the factory that is co-witnessed with the supressor height sights.

I admit, after I upgrade the Girsan with two more mags for an apples to apples comparison to the Beretta, half of the price difference disappears, but still getting the red dot free and already mounted is more value too. Too bad Beretta's current rebates don't include all the new 92Xs, not just the 92X Performance. The other deciding factor for me was that the Girsan Regard Gen 3 has a frame mounted safety, like the 92x Performance, versus the traditional slide mounted safety/decocker on other 92 models. So in the end, it was more about the features I wanted, than price.

Total confession, I'll end up saving even less given that I already plan on buying windowed grips and windowed spare mags from EAA, as being able to see the round count is a value to me, not just a gimmick. Afterall, if this is the gun you plan on taking to battle or even just a true open carry duty situation, assuming that was ever necessary, being aware of round count before a slide stop requires a mag swap is an advantage. You know, the same rationalization we all use when buying a service or full size pistol, especially a M9/92/Regard over smaller lighter guns that are easier to carry or conceal carry, and already have PD or Military duty proven records for reliability, etc.... :)
