Wow, thanks for the breaking news, champ. Hey, in other news people might not have heard, we put a man on the moon.
What does any of what you posted have to do with a P226, one of the most well-regarded semiautomatic handguns ever made? You sound as stupid as that idiot Bama4ever96IQ.
The credit card fees kill the deal for me, I would buy it otherwise.
Just picked this up from my FFL on Friday. Very solidly built, feels good in the hand, no rattle. I did have a few FTF/FTEs at the range, but I chalk them up to the mags, which have incredibly tight springs. Hoping they loosen up with time and the problem disappears, if not I'll pick up some Wilson Combat mags. Accuracy was good at 10 yards, as expected. Only surprise was that the frontstrap was textured a bit more aggressively than I expected, and the G-10 grips were pretty aggressive, too. Gave a solid purchase on the gun but probably means I'm not going to be shooting it all day at the range. Overall I think it's well worth the price of admission.
I ordered mine on Monday the 29th and it was at my FFL on Monday the 5th. Great deal. So nice it comes with 4 mags.
Did it come with the grips in the pic? I kinda like the skateboard tape looking ones on the .45 tacops..
I owned 2 sig 1911 45. Would like to own a 9mm on this 1911. Would be awesome collection and shooting
Was fixing to buy this till I saw 9mm. 1911 = 45 IMHO.
It pulls up as the tacops for me on their website
CORRECT LINK HERE: https://www.gunsmidwest.com/1911r-trad-tacops-9mm-nitron.html...
When I click the link in this post it opens to a P229 SAS
Gun advertised is a 1911 9mm by Sig Sauer. Links to Sig 229. This deal does not work.
If you took the time to search their site for the firearm instead of trusting the link to do all the work, you'd have found the deal advertised.
P320 is a striker fired polymer gun. This is a metal framed DA//SA gun that won't blow your balls off if you drop it.
This guns a classic with a proven track record, besides the E2 grip and SRT make this a real pleasure to shoot.
Personally I would wait for the 365. It is far superior to any gun sig has come out with and has a buffer that negates almost all felt recoil. Sig Sauer is coming out with guns that are revolutionizing the gun industry, but this being a hold over from the old SIG, i would go 365.
2 completely different types of guns. One of the most absurd and irrelevant comments I have ever seen.....until I scrolled down and read your other comments.
Every time you post on this site, you look like an ever bigger moron than the post before.
How can you possibly compare this to the 365? It’s a completely different gun meant for a completely different purpose.
That’s about the most absurd crap I’ve read on this site. If you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about, best not to pretend that you do. Anyone who actually knows guns knows that the track record of the “old SIG” P22x series speaks for itself.
This is a great pistol for a great deal, if it had a rail I’d be extremely tempted to pick one up
I have a 229, never an issue with "slide bite". The bore and slide are so high relative to the grip, how does it hit your hand?
I own one of these and its a superior handgun, never a problem, never any slide bite. Piranha grips make it perfect. Well worth the money.
Sig is liquidating all their 226/229 models that are not enhanced elites or legions. This is a great buy, but the gun is plagued by slide bite, and will hurt you if you're not paying attention. Legions only cost $150 more if you buy them on clearance, so look for them if you want to keep your hand safe!
How on planet earth do you get slide bite with that 27 inch beaver tail? You’re an idiot
Cheapest Legion I've seen was at the gun show for $1k Just yesterday. Would've jumped on it if it were the P226 Legion.
With SIG's infamous "high bore axis", it's pretty much IMPOSSIBLE to get slide bite with these guns unless you're doing something so incredibly wrong. And as was mentioned below, if you can find an $800 Legion, do us all a favor and tell us where these can be purchased.
Please substantiate "the gun is plagued by slide bite." Says who? On my 229 SAS the tang of the grip is 3/4" below the bottom of the slide, so unless you have hands like the Incredible Hulk, you shouldn't get any bite if you're gripping the gun properly.
It is among the only guns that hits my thumb when firing, though i don't have many guns.
Please tell us where Legions are being sold for $800, and I’ll buy all I can get.
Response to the Arex Rex Zero 1 knocking its socks off I wonder?
Have you even ever shot an Arex? The similarities are purely superficial.
Highly doubtful.
People who know will want the real deal, not some knockoff made in Slovenia.
A classic. All metal, hammer fired, 9mm, night sights, SRT, custom shop, easily concealed, and arguably Sig’s best all around utility pistol for $639! Add in $15 for ffl fee and it’s still an absolute bargain. If you’re looking for your 1st Sig purchase grab this one at this price. You can’t beat this firearm at this price. A lot of value here.
It is a phenomenal pistol. Not a concealed carry piece for me (I go single stack), but a tremendous firearm nonetheless. If this was a P226 they'd already have my money.
Not what they used to be. I would not buy these if it takes a PD to sue them to take care of their issues. also the P320 is a real piece of junk, read about that lawsuit where it fires when dropped
