Have not fired any but ordered a few hundred to try. Great service and fair shipping cost. I am over 1000 miles from them. Only complaint is they are in the crappiest boxes I have ever seen.

This is my 2nd time ordering from them. 1,000rds each time. Both times I was very pleased with shipping and the product. Yeah, they come in flimsy little white cardboard boxes, but after catching another online deal for plastic 223/556 ammo storage boxes with lids for only $1 each, any complaints or issues I have are gone. Ammo shoots amazing out of our Colt AR15 with very tight groupings at 200yrds. When it warms up we'll see how it does at 600yrds.

I won't hesitate to buy from them in the future.

I ordered this and received it quick enough, cost <$30 to ship via fed-x which I felt was not unreasonable. I am happy with the purchase- I haven't shot any of it yet but by the looks of it all the rounds are sealed nicely and it appears to be good quality ammo. All I could want for the investment. You cant expect Hornady if you dont pay for it. The only issue I have with the advert saying "not cheap, loose-packed, range fodder" its not junk, but it packaged in flimsy cardboard boxes typical of surplus ammo from that area of the world. I'm happy for the price.

By the way, I've read a few posts, and the company likes to respond with "oh get in touch with us, we want your business, and we can work with you" that's BS based on my experience with them, they wont work with you.

I've ordered two separate 1,000 cases in the last 2-3 weeks and both arrived the very next day. I never had to speak with anyone. Just ordered online, received a shipping notice later in the day, and FedEx Ground showed up the following day.

Not sure it could be any easier.

no complaints with timing on shipping. shipping rates are ridiculous though and like I said they will not work with you. My biggest concern is the quality of product, lack of customer service and price gouging on the shipping cost.

You're right about shipping.
I'm sure they could fit 1000rds into one of the USPS Priority flat rate boxes for $15 shipping anywhere in the cont. US.
However, the quality seems to be nice and the ship quickly.
Right now, they're a good deal assuming you live close enough to them that shipping doesn't kill the deal.

I don't think they can send ammo USPS

yes and a USPS box, even if they did ship WON"T hold the weight of 500 or 1000 rounds. The boxes are far too flimsy. All these cheapskate whiners on gun.deals are getting old. Companies don't ship for free, or at a loss. If they're shipping at cost, they're stupid.

you work for them or something? cause I can order 2000 rounds from places that charge less than this place for 1000.

do you work for a competitor? My package was 29lbs and it was 29$ fed-x. I felt the shipping was reasonable enough...sure I wouldve liked it cheaper but it wasnt outrageous.

I dont know why you have a problem with paying to ship it- if you do, go find ss109 brass cased and sealed rounds somewhere else for .35

Just received my first shipment, from what I've looked at the ammo is not clean but not terribly dirty. HOWEVER, they are supposed to be moisture sealed, that is a joke. If I were to say 1 out of 5 is properly sealed that would be a joke. and being "boxed, not loose" is another joke, they might as well be loose. haven't shot them, and the price was good - I always look for cheap ammo, but I will NOT buy this stuff again - it is in no way comparable so far to other stuff that you can get for a few pennies more per round. So folks hold your breath and wait it out for a "real" deal to come along.

I'm not "buying" this. This guy is new and the only two comments he's made are blasting this ammo. I've bought 2,000 rounds of this in the last month, shooting about 800 of them, and I went and inspected this ammo again, under a magnified light, and every single round is sealed at both the mouth and primer exactly the same. There is virtually NO variance between rounds. I waited a few days to respond because I decided to grab a random handful of rounds, over 30 in all, and put them in a bowl of water for over two days (about 54 hours) and fired them ALL off a little over an hour ago (beautiful day here in Bama) without an issue.

As far as being boxed, yeah they're just 20 rounds in generic white boxes -- like Wolf / Tula but without the internal paper wrapper. It's not retail ammo.

Lastly, this stuff isn't pristine, new Norma brass, but it's noticeably *cleaner* than Lake City M855 that comes on strippers in the 420-round cans -- MUCH cleaner, in fact.

So, it's sealed, clean, accurate, SS109 62-grain penetrator that reloads just as well as LC for $0.38 delivered. The only thing missing is green paint on the nose of the bullet. If you need that, go ahead and pony up another $50-100 per 1000 and feel good about yourself.

People thumbs-down deals for a difference of pennies on this site. There's nothing in this deal -- price, product quality, vendor reliability, etc -- that should compel anyone to thumb this down. Hell, people are posting Wolf / Tula STEEL case stuff for not much less than this, and people thumb that shit up!

BTW, I'm in NE Alabama (Boaz) and any local-ish forum member can come over any time and confirm what I'm saying -- and I have a 150-yard fully-equipped range on my property, so bring some guns and ammo if you want to make a day of it. AND beer. My range fees are charged in beer because, you know, alcohol and firearms go together like peanut butter and chocolate.

What does the fact that I'm new to posting comments have anything to do with the comment I made? I made an observation about my order so I shared it. You obviously received a better batch or your just blind. The ammo I received is not sealed properly and if I new how to post photos of it on here I would. For you to sit there and "blast" me for having an opinion different than you is sad and reminds me of someone with little man syndrome. You really need to find something better to do with your time.

Ahhh... ad hominem attacks... the first refuge of a lost argument.

My response was lucid and filled with facts refuting your original rant against this ammo / deal, something corroborated by numerous people who have likewise purchased this ammo, and your response is to reply with the "you're a little man with too much time on your hands" schtick?

OK. Carry on with your thumbs-down campaign.

Credibility much?

You can buy Wolf Gold (what is normally made by PPU in Serbia) brass ammo at 335-350$/1000rd. And at least you will know what you are buying.

If you need 556 then it requires patience as PSA ans Sportsman Guide periodically have deals for 556 ammo in a range from 0.35 - 0.38 PMC green tip or Federal. They do not last long unfortunately. As of now 410$ will buy you 1000rd of 5.56 PMC X-TAC M855 62 grain Green TIP FMJ LAP Ammo. Shipped 410.5/1000rd

The reason I say this ammo is not a deal because it is NONAME. Who knows if it is even factory made. May be someone buying new brass and reloading it at home. Kind of tricky. I am not saying that they are lying saying that it was made in Romania at some factory. May be it was. It is just hard to accept everything at the face value as it is a new stuff.

According to Wiki this Romanian factory manufactures everything with a focus on ammunition and refrigerator compressors. A a strange way of diversification I would say. May be they are good. Who knows.

RANGE REPORT: SADU M855 / SS109

I figured I would "report" here on my experience with this ammo, purchased two weeks ago from this link, after burning through 600-700 rounds in three different guns during an impromptu "carbine class / 3-gun" ad hoc weekend. I used this ammo exclusively in an LMT D2000, a BCM BFH, and an Adams Arms gas piston AR. I ran seven (7) thirty-round Pmags through each of the three guns, plus a few miscellaneous rounds for sighting in and basic testing.

In short, everything was as it should be. I did NOT have a single failure of any kind. Every round fed, fired, and ejected exactly as it should. It was a wet, dreary, cold weekend and I spent a lot of time on the ground and in the mud (this ammo is visibly SEALED, which is a nice plus, IMHO). 100-yard groups from each of the guns are right around MOA-accuracy, give or take a fraction of an inch and user-error. They burn surprisingly clean, and while I didn't do a direct comparison, these rounds seem to burn a little LESS dirty than do their genuine Lake CIty equivalents. I'm not big into cleaning (i.e. lazy) and usually don't break out the Frog Lube until I have at least 1,000+ rounds through a given gun, unless the ammo was really dirty or I'm feeling unusually industrious or bored on a given weekend. After 200-250 rounds per gun, none of them appear to need a bath.

My reloading buddy / neighbor took all of my brass and is going to see how they reload, but he was positively impressed by the quality of the brass at first look. He thinks it's every bit as good, and already cleaner, than LC M855 that we usually shoot.

Right now, as-of today, this looks to be the absolute BEST deal on quality .223 brass ammo. AE 55gr is more expensive, and this stuff just flat-out rocks -- all for $0.38 per round DELIVERED!

DISCLAIMER: I don't work for nor do I have any interest in BGAA. I don't know anyone who does, and I have never corresponded with anyone there -- but if BGAA wants to cut me a special deal for my kind words I am fully willing to prostitute myself for a buck ;-)

Great Rounds. Fast Inexpensive shipping. Only went through 90 rounds, but no FTE, FTF's. Got the Black Friday discount and got to my door this morning!

For the record put an order in on Friday afternoon and received it the next day on this holiday weekend....that's impressive!!! Ammo looks good and will get to the range either later today or tomorrow. I understand that shipping will kill a deal but sometimes service is worth that extra cent of two per round.

It should specify on the web site.

This 5.56 Is Non-Corrosive. We now clarify that the primers in this ammo are non-corrosive, on the website. In fact, none of the ammunition in our store use corrosive primers. Thank you for advising us that this fact was not on our website!

I don't think corrosive ammo is made anymore. The only corrosive ammo on the market nowadays is russian stuff from the 70s.

Purchased 1K rounds last week and just returned from the desert with 2 of my associates who shot the new ammo thru their own firearms, a Black Rain AR15 and a Daniel Defense M4 V7. I used a Zastava AK47 PAP-M85 in 5.56. We shot just about 500 rounds of this new ammo and 500 rounds of PMC X TAC Green Tip. Results? All 3 agreed that the new SS109 "Penetrator" ammo was as good if not better than our much beloved PMC X TAC ammo. I'm ordering another 1K rounds in about 2 minutes. What's not to like about superior performance at a lower cost? I think you will like it!
