0.28 per round, 3-16-20, about equal price for lake city, but currently experiencing panic buying, from covid-19 hype

This may not be match grade ammo but it's still brass, non-magnetic, reliable, and set at a fair price. You can stop complaining now.

285 per 1000 at Ammunitionstore.com with code 10XMAS. And shipping is fair.

Yup 10 casses of this shxt should last about a week, it's good quality for the price and a ton of fun out on the backyard range.

Thanks for the heads up, I got 1,000 from the armory, I don't have to pay for my friends- yeah I'm talking to you Sg members. Cute little club you have there.

Tuckin Fired of Coupons!!!
"COUPON" mentioned no less than EIGHT times in the add,,,
How about a good price w/o all the smoke and mirrors / carrot dangling???

Good deal, I got my 500 but SG needs some packaging help. I had rounds loose at the bottom of the inner box and a few boxes were crushed. I'm sure it doesn't hurt the ammo but the last thing I want to do is dig loose ammo and repackage them when the package finally arrives.

Coupon code takeoff20% works. Knocked off $30.00. Free 30 day trial for non members, just have to remember to cancel it or they WILL charge you April 30th. That knocked off $8.30. Shipping was $18.00. Out the door $146.67. Right at .29 a round.

Good to know! I thought you could only use it once!

Any site the requires you to pay for a membership should not have "deals" listed on gun.deals.

Buy the same ammo from The Armory, where the shipping is faster, cheaper even with shipping and no need to pay for "membership"...

Shipping from The Armory is $30.85 LOL
$339.84 1000 rounds shipped... definitely not cheaper

He posted that almost 7 months ago back in August. I ordered tons of 1,000 round Wolf Gold cases for $300 shipped in a 40mm ammo can.

Man, SG gets a lot of publicity with this coupon that can only be used once. I've used it already so all these "deals" are worthless to me.

Really is a bunch of bull! I wasted my "Free Shipping" on a 50 round box of .22lr. What a waste. Nowhere is it stated that the coupon is good for only one transaction.

cheaper per round if you buy two of the 260rd packs then use the coupon SN365, comes to 24.1 cents per rd

You can buy up to 10-260rd packs without a shipping increase!

$77.89x2=$155.78-$30=$125.78 for 520rds

Basically .~30 cents shipped with the coupon if you are a member. Still a deal for 223 with the market as it is now. Last year I could get this for about 28 cents shipped or 286 per 1000 shipped, so not too bad. This is a decent brass ammo when you see some places still charging 30 cents for "steel case."

i would never buy things from them. they fxxking charge tax to CA, but they dont have a shop or warehouse in CA

Blame Commifornia, not the retailer. People in California don't know what's being done to them. Proof positive.

Your problem isn't Sportsmans Guide, your problem is living in the state of California. Living in a state hostile to the firearms industry has its drawbacks.

That is probably your state forcing them to charge tax. I don't have an Amazon.com warehouse yet in my state but the state added tax to all orders now this year.

Weird. My Zip Code is in a "restricted" zone. Guess its back to better retailers who do not cancel your orders because they can't get the promised product.

I've ordered from SG before and didn't have trouble.

If it truly has the M193 projectile, this is a great deal. I have shot over 500 rounds of this stuff, with not a single issue. I did not realize this may actually be M193. (SG is saying it is.) Shipped to 66215 (Kansas City) it was $146.67, including $1 for their insurance. Love it.

**EDIT** I ordered on 4/15 and it shipped 4/22.

It's a 5.56 load with M193 specs. It's a gem like the ZQ and CBC ammo. Stock up before the masses catch on.

After shipping it comes out to 154.97 to ship to 42103. So, basically .31 per round which is average for Wolf Gold but it is available at other online stores for close to this price without the wait.

$0.31 a round for cheap brass cased ammo. And this is a "deal"?

If you need some now, Palmetto state has 5.56 XM 193 for $29.99 for 90 rds. free shipping on orders over $100
That's like 33.3 CPR

Stop complaining. The market is still trying to recover after the "ATF BS." This is quality ammo. Tell me where you can find 223 in stock for 31 cents or less right now. Freedom munitions is charging 33 cents for their 223 reloaded so quit whining. How about you buy this below. Enjoy the 36 cents a round.

Mehh... Wolf gold was under $.30/rd shipped before the m855 ATF BS, this isn't a great deal.

if you do some digging around you will see that the only reason why this ammo dipped so low is that wolf had to meet contract obligations and that when the price normalized it will be around the 330 to 350 price range if they even bother to bring this back in.. so this is a good deal and prior was a smoking deal.

can you point to any other brass cased 223 cheaper? I watch the ammo sites non-stop and can't beat this unless it's for steel cased stuff. This is decent Taiwan made brass cased ammo.

3 votes

Exactly. This is the best priced 223 brass cased I have seen so far and I checked the sites daily. I still see steel case for this price which I think is just ridiculous. Reloads can barely even be found for this price.

CA sales tax+shipping brings this to $213 for me, even with coupon.

That's Kalifornia's doing, not SG. Seems like Kalifornia politicians are doing a good job making their state safe for criminals.
