Hmm, I love Amazon prime to and order a number of items each week from them. But when I ordered this from Cameraland it was by far the best price online as I have been looking for one for sometime. I recieved mine prompt and with a great experience from Cameraland. Don't get me wrong Asa again Prime is freaking awesome but saving $22 is worth the extra couple days I waited as did not need it before weekend. I actually asked the CL guy when I ordered and he said they guarentee everything they sell... I didn't ask about postage but Vortex guarentees everything for life and they do pay postage. I sent a viper scope back last summer that was fogging up and they did not ask any questions just took care of it. So needless to say I spent the extra money I saved on 2 new 7.62 mags for the AR this magnifier went in;). Taking out tomorrow. On side note if you want to wait these will probably be even charger next summer like they were last year. Unfortunately I need one now. Moral os story is prices fluctuate on these items so if you want them now then you find the best current price and buy. If not then wait and test your luck. All in all this is a very fair price and I'm extactic. Would have paid $199 as needed one anyway...

$20 on a $170 product is a lot. Who cares what the price was last year, this is the best deal for this going. I bought a Surefire x300 ultra for $160 on Amazon 3 years ago. Haven't seen that deal since. How is that relevant to people currently shopping for one.

Amazon no hassle return is bs. I've ordered and returned stuff as a prime and non prime member before and have had issues before. For instance, Amazon sent me the wrong book once, returned it unopened and they tried to charge me a restocking fee. They waived it as a "courtesy" but definitely wasn't hassle free. It wasn't even a 3rd party seller either.

Gear hog doesn't accept returns, but cameralandny does. Bottom line, I'm willing to wait a little to get a great deal.

When I posted the deal, the LOWEST on Amazon was $199.xx, so I don't know where you are getting your info. Also, to compare current prices to what you paid last year....well, it's just foolish. When I posted this deal, there were Amazon listing for as high as $249. I would love to buy things based on last year's pricing...however reality sucks sometimes...like right now. The lowest on Amazon RIGHT NOW is $169.99...so this deal (or through CL direct) is still $20 cheaper.

Most importantly, you need to be corrected on your misinformation related to Camera Land. Gearhog doesn't do returns, not Camera Land directly. Please cite where Camera Land does not offer refunds when purchased directly through their company? You read the Gearhog policy and ASSUMED wrong. That is not the policy of Camera Land as a company.

I guess this deal has been so successful for Gearhog and Camera Land because people want to pay more when apparently it's available for less money elsewhere. Wow.

This has been as low as $142 on amazon, sold by amazon. I bought it for 141.99 shipped last summer.The person below implying its low on amazon has been 199.99 is simply wrong. It has in fact never been HIGHER than 199.99 on amazon in 2016 according to all tracking sites. ie 199 is not the low, it is the high.
And again I have nothing bad to say about cameranlandNY, except it explicitly states it will not do returns, and even for problem units you have to deal with warranty instead of what would happen on amazon, which is a no postage cost return to amazon for full refund or quick shipping of replacement which nycameraland will not do.

Just got off the phone with cameralandny, yes like you said they are shipping even before the timer goes to zero and it is shipping direct from vortex. They were not anticipating this many people buying so vortex is a little behind. I ordered last Sunday and the CS guy told me Sunday's orders have not shipped. However, once vortex does ship, the tracking number will be emailed to the customer.

I didn't ask. Because these are shipping direct from Vortex, I am guessing not.

Are they emailing tracking numbers when they ship?

I have emailed back and forth a few times now with Camera Land. The customer service offered by Camera Land is an A+ in my opinion. I am the person that posted this deal through Gearhog, and had I known this item was available directly through Camera Land at the same price, the Gearhog deal never would have been posted by me. For some reason I can not delete this "deal", but if anybody is reading this before buying, go to Camera Land's website and buy direct from them instead of through Gearhog. Gearhog has not replied to a single email that I sent concerning a previous deal weeks ago, and no reply to an email sent last week related to this deal either.

Don't know why my posting disappeared by this is regularly (and right now) $170 at amazon, sold by amazon, free and fast shipping and unlike this seler, no problem with return to amazon. for me 12% more at amazon is worth it

I got mine today. Ordered direct. Taking it out tomorrow for a test drive. Going to use it on an eotech 516 and vortex strikefire 2... Seems to be pretty solid although the mount sits fairly far back on rail compared to some of other options...

Camera land ny just ordered a the directly from Vortex and they are drop shipped so not sure why this service is waiting so long. They must get paid a percentage once they meet a minimum....

They did the same with the 45 ammo. Charged immediately upon ordering despite it listing no charge until shipping. Try getting a reply from them is impossible. As you said, as long as I get the goods for a decent price, I can accept their horrible customer service and inability to follow what they state on their own website.

I called cameralandny earlier today. These will ship direct from Vortex, and they said that there may be a small delay in shipping because this offer has been so popular. I'm in no rush, but if anybody is looking to get one ASAP, you might be better off to buy it from a source that has them in stock. I'd rather wait an extra week or two and save some $ versus getting is as quickly as possible, but I am cheap.

Go to camera land NY and you can order this direct. You don't have to go through all the hoops from this website. You can order on their site or call them direct. They are super nice and Neil from Camera Land said I should have it this week instead of the 2 weeks if you buy from the gear hub site. The only issue I had was the camera land website is hard to use a credit card on. I kept getting a pay pal prompt so just called them.
