HK offers 3 grip styles, USP, P30 and P2000 .
i own all 3 and this model . on hot days and with sweaty palms the grip is slick as hell . ive had the weapon slip and accidentally hit the mag paddles, mag dropped out . i use the crush grip and waist locked .
its a great sidearm and very accurate, i cant sale it, being a 45 fanboy, so its a safe queen .
i wish HK would put the P30 grip on this sidearm, my HK45 grip is cadillac . its a great deal and tack driver, rent one take it out for a test drive . mines been 100% reliable .
USPc 45 and USP tac or my EDC and HD, just like my 2x4 grips on the USP's better .

The hk45 was developed to replace the USP 45 by Vickers himself. It is more ergonomic, improves on all the internals, and overall more user friendly. Fantastic gun. Incredibly accurate.

LEM is double action only, variant 3 is the variant of the mark 24 (the Hk45ct that the navy seals used) which is da/SA.

P2000 series guns came out after the USP. The P30 and hk45 series gun are the latest generation HK handguns (not including the vp striker fired guns). P2000 is nice but has the propriety HK rail mounting system, whereas the newer p30 and hk45 guns have a universal picatinny rail. The latter requires no additional adapter to mount most lights or lasers.

The hk45 compact and full size series are the evolution of HK handguns. Standard picatinny rail, forward slide serrations, adjustable grip panels to more individualize ergonomics, rated for suppressors without having to buy a new RSA etc...

Other than being “tactical” how does the hk45 compare to the usp? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
