The AR-9 Muzzle Device was developed for 9mm PCC platform to reduce recoil and muzzle rise and there is no doubt that it does the job well.  The brake has a two port parallel design on the top of the brake that reduces muzzle rise and two parallel bottom ports for recoil reduction.
