I ordered one in late Sept. and whatever parts kit was being used then, was not Anderson. I have used many Anderson kits, and this was not one. Everything out of spec and the stock wouldn't even slide on the buffer tube. In short, had to use a different parts kit, which added to the cost. They also will not answer emails, as I sent several. Buy at your own risk, but this was my experience.

The lower parts kits issue has been dealt with. The lpks are from Anderson. We use the stainless hammer and trigger kits from Anderson when available and use their basic lpks when not. Thanks for the feedback.

I bought this kit and the pins in my LPK were out of spec...the pin for the bolt catch got stuck half way in and then bent. It was hell removing it. I had to buy a new set of CMMG pins.

Note the hammer sear where there is material chipped away. I've seen 2 like this from this vendor. I don't know the manufacturer of their LPKs, but I'd suggest asking before buying. Everything else was good. These are from the pistol build kits, I assume the LPKs are going to be the same.

The upper is assembled using Anderson components and a Bear Creek barrel. These kits are assembled and headspaced in house. You will find unmatched accuracy at this price point, not to mention, a great looking rifle.

Can anyone comment about the quality of this kit? Thanks.

I've bought 2 of these from Geaux Armory; I don't think there's a better deal out there. Both shoot under 1 moa, they look great, and Geaux is really good to deal with. Yeah, the lpk is mil-spec, so don't expect a match grade trigger...

its a bear creek product, i have heard not so great things about their entry level products, they might have gotten batter. although I believe the barrel itself has great reviews.
