Like Tula’s other budget-friendly rifle ammunition, this 223 Rem cartridge features a non-corrosive Berdan primed steel shell casing (thus making the cartridge as a whole magnetic). It’s wholly unsuitable for handloading unless the end of the world happened several months earlier, but Tula’s own polymer application does help it to cycle more efficiently through a semi-automatic weapon.

Unlike much of Tula’s ammunition, this 223 Rem cartridge’s 55 grain HP bullet contains no steel at all. Its jacket is made entirely of cartridge brass, which is still cost-effective because it’s stronger and therefore can be applied in a thinner layer than pure copper.
