Description

You love saving money. Your range hates magnetic bullets. We can’t blame them -- even a small bit of steel brushing up against a hard surface is able to create sparks, and as a rule fires are bad for business. But how can you take advantage of Tula’s economical ammunition without betraying the rangemaster’s trust? Why, with this very case of ammunition, of course!

Like Tula’s other budget-friendly rifle ammunition, this 223 Rem cartridge features a non-corrosive Berdan primed steel shell casing (thus making the cartridge as a whole magnetic). It’s wholly unsuitable for handloading unless the end of the world happened several months earlier, but Tula’s own polymer application does help it to cycle more efficiently through a semi-automatic weapon.

Unlike much of Tula’s ammunition, this 223 Rem cartridge’s 55 grain HP bullet contains no steel at all. Its jacket is made entirely of cartridge brass, which is still cost-effective because it’s stronger and therefore can be applied in a thinner layer than pure copper. The rangemaster will smile at you when you present this ammunition at his range and then congratulate you on your exquisite taste.

The ammo itself is decent. I have shot .223 and 7.62x39 with no issues and not any dirtier than other imported brands. Just wait a few months to order so prices come back to normal as at this price it is no deal. I bought this all day long from Outdoor Limited as recently as November for $3.99/20 round box.. .20 per round in a box of 20 vs. the current .25 per round by the case...pass...
