This is made in Taiwan for the military, just not branded Wolf. They made tons of crated ammunition for the T91. This is really good stuff. Well worth the price...

This is about $20.00 higher then usual, but for the times were in this is a good deal from a decent company, if they say “in stock” then it is, not like the Bull Cr@p Bass Pro is pulling taking your order then next day in your end mail **sorry out of stock** also they are not gouging the crap out of us IMHO like Lucky Gunner, Cheaper Than Dirt and others ( flash backs to Sandy Hook times ) and nothings changed in these times. Don’t feed gougers !!!

I’ve shot 55gr wolf gold and loved it. It’s great ammo and performed 100%. BUT... If I buy 2K worth it should be lower than 28¢ pr. With Sportsman's it’s not even worth clicking the link. They will have some up non member jacked up price that will kill the deal...

I’ve always had good luck with Sportsman’s guide. As for the $40/year membership fee, you make that up pretty quick especially if you order during double discounts.

As Club member, just placed order at $277.39 and $0 shipping using SH2258.

WHAT DID I TELL YOU? I WARNED YOU ABOUT ANOTHER SANDY HOAX UNDER TRUMP BUT YOU DIDN'T LISTEN!!!

I SURE HOPE YOU STOCKED UP ALREADY, DON'T BE SURPRISED IF THIS DEAL DISAPPEARS

What hoax are you taking about? People have been jailed for harassing Sandy Hook family members you sick bastard. People like you harm gun rights and the shooting community as a whole. Go back to your trailer and watch Nascar, shut up, and stop using the big boy internet.

Research "duping delight", then Google"Sandy Hook laughing".

Not sure how much the shipping is, but join the club for this deal and you start at $277.93, then use TAKEOFF20% and the price is $222.34. Shipping would have to be pretty awful to make that a bad deal.

TAKEOFF20% is $30 max. would be $247.93

Comes out to $270 if you have their cc. Combined with 4 pay of only $67 a month is fine with me

Current price of $277.39 is bogus. The price is $319.99 for non members and $303.99 for members.

Must be a Buyers Club Member to use code SK560 and if you use that you cannot get free shipping so the $16 you save is negated by the $20 shipping fee.

I would have never started the membership if I knew the $10 coupons would be made useless because you cannot combine these with any free shipping code. I didn't realize this in time so I couldn't cancel the membership. Turns out the inability to use two codes makes the membership deal a bad deal after all....

I cancelled a membership a few months after getting it (a few years ago). Have you asked for a refund of membership costs?

My favorite ammo for the range and wouldn't be a bad option for shtf. Never had a failure of any kind through thousands of rounds fired with Wolf Gold. Hopefully it will go even cheaper but can't really go wrong at this price if you need to replenish.

Odd, I've had plenty of issues with Wolf Gold 223. My two AR's and a buddy's AR has FTF issues with this particular ammo. We thought it was an issue with a particular brand of mag we were using, then fired a few hundred rounds of 556 green tip without a single failure.

I did buy this thousand round box when the price was $277, but it's back up to $303 as of 3/28/17.

I've never had FTF w/WG, but I recently noticed one piece of brass was cracked after it was fired.
My 'stash' is probably a year old, so obviously not from this same lot number, but still, was pretty amazed to see brand new ammo crack it's brass. Stuff happens,,,,,,, I guess,,,,,,,,,,,
Yep, price is back up to $303 as of 3/28/17

No hurry. (Unless you're out)

Lots of panic buying before the election. Most folks are still 'well-stocked'
Prices will only continue to drop, both ammo and firearms.

That makes sense. My comment was from 3 months ago :)

Just got a shipping notification, but looks like they only shipped half my order. Will update when it arrives. Hope they didn't jack this up.

***EDIT***Just received all ammo. They split up my order across four shipments, which is weird, but it all arrived well packaged, and without any damage. Here's to stocking up and plinking on the cheap all year long!

The coupon worked for those who got in early. I also saved almost $14 using ebates bringing my price to around $526. Order shipped yesterday

When this deal was posted, the double discount was applied and working. I guess SPG got wise to it and they now specifically list this 2k rd deal as being exempt from the double discount. I had it in the cart and discount worked, but I dragged my feet and then about 2 hrs later the code originally listed wouldn't work.

Sorry, this Double Discount does not apply to item 696981 (2,000 rounds Wolf Gold .223 ammo), and no additional discount off Firearms, Trolling Motors or Marine Electronics.

Makes sense, as the code reduced the price of other ammo deals posted today. 2k WG is the only item that wouldn't get reduced.

$0.27 doesn't work for me. "Double discount" doesn't reduce the price, only gives free shipping in my case.

same, oh well. saved me from a big impulse buy.

Same here. Looks like whoever posted this didn't bother to test the coupon code with this item at checkout.

It worked for those that got in early. SPG changed it at some point.

$.20 per round brass .223? I can see them going down to $.25 soon, but there's no way it will drop to that low anytime soon.

2 votes
0 votes

.27 is too high for this. I've seen it near .20 already for cheap brass. What gives? Try freedom munitions or lax or any number of other sellers. Thumbs down SG.

It will likely get lower. But $0.20 is BS.

Post a link to the .20 cents per round brass case .223. I'll buy 10,000 rounds!

the only way you get brass for that price is re manufactured ammo. That's not the same.

Wolf Gold is manufactured to M193 specs and is sealed.

damn it. I just signed up for a new Credit card that I need to spend 4k on to hit a point bonus. There's enough guys I work with that shoot that I could have easily talked them into a group buy and I hit my minimum spend. Sadly I haven't received the card yet....

Thanks for the post....still working off the free trial membership from earlier in the month... $539.09 shipped...27 cents per round is a great deal!

Great deal especially if you're a member. SK1349 gives you another $30 off AND free shipping. I have one of their credit cards as well, so that was good for another $14 off, and don't forget ebates! It's been a long time since you could get this stuff for less than 26 cents per round!

SK1349 only gives free shipping. There is no additional discount on this item. The post is wrong.

if you are a buyer's club member, you get an additional discount. I ordered some earlier. The post is accurate
