You’ll never see it, they back order after back order
why does sportsmanguide chaege CA sales tax ???? they are not in CA!! WTF other companies charge the normal state rate if any ... ruins the deal !!!
This was 120 bucks at Cabelas yesterday so not bad at all. SG ships fast when they actually have an item in stock also. Good deal if you need it.
Don't waste your time with Sprotsmans guide back ordering. I have had four seperate back ordered products and the dates on three of them were changed once or twice, all so far out into the future it isn't worth it. One was just cancelled. The closest date I now have on one of my orders is November this year and I expect it to get changed again as well. You would do better to just keep searching for someplace that eventually gets some in stock. I think they do this just to get people buying stuff on their site, almost like a bait and switch, or just bait.....
Not expected in stock until October. I still ordered 1. Anyone know if this is good ammo?
This stuff is great, it's the most accurate ammo that I've shot out of my sig556 (1:7 twist). It's a really long bullet, so that may be why it's so good out of my barrel. I really wish I would have held off on buying 200 rounds of PPU 75 gr match last week, I would have much rather picked up this stuff. You'll be surprised at just how clean this ammo is. Even with the flash suppressor removed I really couldn't see any muzzle flash. Normally there is a "Hadouken" size fireball with any other load when I remove the muzzle device.
From what I've read, it's a poor ammo for self-defense because there is only about 4-5 inches of penetration. But then again, that's probably just the opinions of the keyboard commandos that wrote the info. Personally, I wouldn't want a round that juggernauts it's way through doors, walls, and into other rooms if it's going to be used for self-defense, especially since I have a family.
Do you recall what the shipping was on 1 can?
Got this same stuff for 40cpr at my lgs today.... far from a deal here
