I knew it was gonna be cheap but damn it’s trash... mounted it on a custom savage10 and the rifle sat canted to the right side . I bought two thinking the first one was just a bad bipod but the second one was just as bad . Don’t waste your time !

Well...you get what you pay for. Not stable when fully extended, rust fast.

it held up through a day of shooting just fine. I should add that if you are using this on a Magpul Hunter 700 you need to get an M-Lok rail as the stock's shape (its squarish) doesn't work with the bi-pod's standard sling swivel stud mount. Used it on the M-Lok rail and it works great (the rail attachment comes with the bi-pod).

Can this be barrel mounted?

Works as expected. One thing I thought was odd is how it's spring load to make the legs longer but it only extends maybe an inch probably not even that. To me it's not even worth being adjustable

Not sure what the price was before but I took a chance at $16 with shipping. Mine showed up today and seems decent for the money. I only put it on a .22 for now.

If your looking for functional and cheap this maybe for you. I can't tell much difference between this $16 one and the other two on my ARs that I spent $40 a piece in quality.

Oh, I can tell a different between Chinese knock-off $15 Harris and real Harris $100 bipod just by looking at it not even talking about actually using it. To be honest, I've seen absolutely awesome reproduction of Accu-Tac bipod for $30 that both functionally and visually indistinguishable from the real deal, I'm guessing it was made in the shame shop and just not branded. So YMMV.

still can't get why people are buying these chinese knock-offs

Just a rule of thumb - if you see a "deal" which leads to
1) Chinese POS
2) Amazon as a marketplace seller
3) (most importantly) has a 8-character cryptic (mixed numbers and letters) "coupon" code (that in reality is a referral code)

99% that this is a very crappy paid deal posted by a shill that is usually not good at all.
I keep getting emails from "Jack Cheng" guys literally every week offering me to post crap on SD & FW in exchange for $$ - never did this, but lots of people are not as honest...

I ordered a couple of these awhile back, pretty tight, springs are good, serves the purpose. I have one on a 308 and the other on an AR-15. There not a Harris bipod but for the price you can't beat it.
