The .308 WIN or 7.62x51 NATO is a worldwide used caliber making ammunition for this barrel easy to find. This caliber is capable and more than adequate for hunting deer, pronghorn, elk, moose, and bear and can be accurately shot at distances upwards of 800 yards.
