About 1-1/2 years ago I bought a stainless 14.5 spr fluted BA barrel from Granite ridge for just under 150....today it shows 220 and out of stock.
It's an excellent barrel, it's a crapola price as duncan said.
Excellent customer support.
Will definitely shop here again.
Thank you, Jim of GRO.
Prices are good on many of the listed barrels...but...I found the Ballistic Advantage 16" .308 Tactical Government Mid Barrel for $24.08 cheaper at Primary Arms after applying the "Ball" discount and factoring in the $9.26 shipping cost for (2) barrels from PA. Bought two barrels and saved $48.16 total...delivered. But I did not call to request a price match...and PA's barrel selection is very limited. They simply had a barrel in the caliber and configuration I needed.
Same Barrell is at PA is currently $120 on their Xmas sale and still running free ship past $125.cant be beat!
9mm rifle length barrels? Never mind found them.
Excellent deal. Even beat righttobear which has barrels on sale as well. I'll be buying from them again.
You don't carry/sell any 12.7 x 42mm barrels?
The AR-10/.308 BA 18" premium series government barrel looks sweet
I've ordered from Granite Ridge in the past and the experience was great. One item I ordered was cheaper elsewhere, I still ordered it from GR along with other items to prevent multiple orders but I sent a message with a link asking if they'd match it, they refunded/beat it by a dollar. It's not much but every bit helps, I had already placed my order so they didn't have to do that.
Quality retailer. Recently purchased from them. Shipping was quick and items were well protected.
I also like that when you go to check out, they list all current coupons to make sure you haven't missed a discount. That sort of transparency generates loyalty from me.
its really deceiving because it says "barrels starting at starting at $77.95" not one barrel is below $140 lol
Wasn't planning on buying a barrel yet, but this is a pretty sweet deal for the 18" fluted barrel.
Got a BA 6.5 CM barrel from Granite Ridge Outfitters... shipped quick and arrived in perfect condition. Will buy from these guys again.
I've got a BA 10.3" blackout barrel and have been contemplating a 14.5" 5.56 build. This just gave me all of the reasons I needed to start on it.
Bought the Ballistic Advantage 8.3" .300 Blackout Hanson Barrel in December for $169.57 to my door and absolutely love it so far. Best price I have seen and received within 4 days. Matched up beautifully with a Fail Zero BCG to make cleanup a breeze with my Suppressed Side-Charging (MAS Defense) SBR.
Granite Ridge BA Hanson barrels will be my first choice for future builds.
same 300aac barrel that is 120 @ http://www.tomstactical.com/ballistic-advantage-300-blackout-barrel-16-inch-modern-series... is $171 at granite. do your research before
You can apply the coupon on top of the current prices that you see on our site. The barrel you linked to is out of stock as well. Yes, you may be able to find barrels for cheaper here and there, but others are usually very limited on their selection. We have 46 in stock BA barrel varieties at this very moment - all at lower pricing with the coupon code with Free shipping. Additional discounts are offered on occasion as well. Also, feel free to ask for a price match. I will always try to match or beat a price. *EDIT
Got my 7.62 20" super fast and barrel looks great. Also picked up the matching 7.62 Aero precision BCG. Looking forward to firing.
Ordered one of these barrels Sunday evening. It is now Thursday and I still have not received a shipping confirmation. In the time of Amazon, Brownells and Midway, I'm not impressed.
I stand corrected. The email from Granite Ridge was in my spam folder. Order is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I apologize for the rant!
All Sunday orders have already shipped out. What was your order number? It's possible that the tracking email didn't get through to you.
Just had a bunch of barrels come in.
If I buy a 14.5 barrel with a muzzle device, can you get it pinned?
how about some deals on something other than 9mm barrels.
also what's with short barrels costing more than longer barrels?
i don't see one being more labor intensive than the other and the long barrel obviously requires more material... is it simply s demand sort of thing?
The deal/coupon applies to all of the different calibers. The Ballistic Advantage barrels come in Modern series, Performance series, Premium series, and the Hanson series, which all have their own specific features and price points. That is why you may see a shorter barrel priced higher than the longer barrels of a lower series. I'd imagine their retail price points are dependent on the time/labor/material that is involved for each barrel type.
Here is some additional info on the different series:
Modern Series: The Modern Series Barrels are machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel and feature a QPQ Corrosion Resistant Finish and QPQ Coated M4 Feed Ramp Extension.
Performance Series: The Performance Series Barrels are machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel and feature a QPQ Corrosion Resistant Finish and Nickel Boron Coated M4 Feed Ramp Extension. All Performance Series Barrels are HP and MPI tested.
Premium Series: The Premium Series Barrels are machined from 416 Stainless Steel and feature a Bead Blasted Finish and Nickel Boron Coated M4 Feed Ramp Extension. All Premium Series Barrels are HP and MPI tested.
Hanson Series: The BA Hanson Profile barrels feature a shoulder-less design, symmetrically limiting barrel “whip” and allowing the barrel to quickly return to its home position. This is extremely beneficial for follow up shots at a high rate of fire or full auto fire. Lightweight feel without the lightweight limitations, it is truly ideal for how an AR-15 is designed to perform.
I tend to find Monmouth has far better prices on BA barrels. In fact, I'll post some up right now.
308's in stock and a great deal right here. http://www.monmouthreloading.com/shop/ballistic-advantage-modern-series-16-308-tactical-government-cmv-barrel/...
I appreciate the post. The .308 barrel you linked to is certainly a good deal. Our .308 offerings have been a little slim lately due to BA being out of stock on a lot of those barrels. We'll get more in soon, hopefully.
With that being said, you have to remember to factor in our coupon code (mentioned in the title) and free shipping. The majority of the BA barrels are cheaper through us when that is considered (Monmouth looks to add at least $10 for shipping costs, as far as I can see). *EDIT
Currently. there are some Ballistic Advantage dealers who are selling at pre-pandemic prices, Granite Ridge is Not one of them. Dack Outdoors is, and they will save you 25% plus over Granite Ridge prices at this time. https://dackoutdoors.com/...
