I just bought a billet lower of theirs.... it is beautiful... if the forged is as nice I’ll buy them too
I bought 6 them back when they were 49.99 with coupon code, quality is good for mil-spec will definitely buy more if I could get them at that deal, compare too Anderson and PSA I have this look better in my Opinion
They’re a company based out of Oklahoma City and they sell some very nice forged and billet AR lowers, stripped or complete. I looked at some of their complete billet lowers and they look legit. I think they were going for $359.
I don’t know if I trust this brand.
It came into the market out of no ware.
whats the difference between Mil spec and Mil standard?
Here is what I found: According to the Government Accountability Office (GAO), military specifications "describe the physical and/or operational characteristics of a product", while military standards "detail the processes and materials to be used to make the product."
must be the same as what I know it as.. Commercial spec.
They are located just north of I-40 in OKC not far from a gun store I've been to a number of times. I'll give them a call, and see what they say. I'm of the opinion this may be a billet that is machined out of Forged 7075-T6 blocks to look, and be dimensionally the same as a standard forged lower receiver. This would allow them to keep turning out receivers when they run out of forged ones. That would agree with everything they say in their description. Here is a link that talks about some of the thing we read, and hear about ARs that aren't always on the up and up. https://www.everydaymarksman.co/equipment/ar-15-specs/...
I think the brand/product name is "17D MIL-STANDARD"...
Do these have logos on them?
