I got a deal subscription notice for this item in stock last night for $69. It was out of stock in a hour. Got a notice today, but it’s $99! No thanks!

For $99 on a chf this is a killer deal. Used this on my Aero build. Contacted the number listed as one of the owners via text and the response was immediate. Some have mentioned the bore was rusted but my barrel was just dirty, nothing a brush and patch could not get rid of in 3 minutes. Bang for your buck for sure.

I bought one and it was very rusty inside the bore...I saw comments like this on another older post but the price was way lower then so I figured they had fixed the problem. That was a mistake. They haven't.

These are great barrels people. I purchased four of them six months ago. They're my go to now.

Accurate enough (right at MOA to just over MOA accuracy from my initial testing)
gassed perfectly
finish is nice.

no complaints.

Good quality. Machining is flawless. If you mention P.M.B.R. (Poor Man's Black Rifle) in the comments section when you place the order they'll throw in some free swag with your order.

Pinned and welded a standard a2 flash hider on mine. Dropped a rod when I was finished and it measured 16.1" from breech face to the end of the muzzle.

Took it out to test when the temps were in the 20's and the wind was gusting so hard it knocked over my target stands several times. Still managed 2" 5 round groups with a variety of bulk ammo at 100 yards. I had a couple of 4 shot sub-MOA groups with quality ammo that I threw a shot on, spoiling the group.

Flawless operation, shoots SMOOTH. I mean SMOOTH. I think it's the fact that the barrel's so short, and the gas system is so long, but holy crap it's the softest shooting AR I've ever built. Looking forward to testing some more. I think this is a sub-MOA barrel when I do my part.

I'm pretty sure these are the same as the Picket Mill Armory CHF 16" barrel, just shorter. That description says its made on contract by another CHF barrel maker.

I received mine and did not research, it had the same exact specs and same length as PSA's freedom like of nitrided CHF barrels, who PSA claims they make, which could just mean they have an NDA with the forger, or perhaps they are made by someone under the holding company that also owns PSA, DC Machine being one possibility. I doubt PSA has CHF production capabilities directly in house.

$79.99 for an unmarked barrel (no cal/twist rate) with flat rate shipping 6.99.....79.99 + $20 (for cal /twist / CHF engraved).

cal/twist/chf engraving is only $5, the $20 option is for custom text like a love letter for a wedding gift or something

You need to pay extra for having the caliber and twist rate engraved? I would want CHF on it too.

I bought one of these. Can't figure out who made it though? I thought it was FN but they chrome their barrels. Not sure who else hammer forges their barrels.

I was wondering the same, my suspicion is Ruger.
