Not my experience at all. Part was perfect, fit on my DPMS 308 (after I had a lo-pro gas block).
I also see that "jesterTactical" has been a member for all of 30 (wait for it) seconds before making his only post/comment.

If this was for the AR15 I would have snagged 2. I need to build the AR10

Ok, order placed. (Bought a bunch of other stuff too- shipping was only $4.99 and they had other stuff on special- such as a lo-pro gas block)
Biggest PITA was removing the old DPMS full-float handguard (short and cylindrical). Ended up cutting my a2 sight post because I wanted a steel gas block (and I knew the existing one worked).
For some reason this got repeated, so I'll put more info here. It has a custom nut, but you just need an AR-TEN wrench to tighten it (harder to find than for ar-15).

vendor sells garbage. bought this 308 rail and its to short and screw holes all stripped out. vendor doesnt respond to emails, AVOID THIS DISASTER OF A COMPANY
