Don't they mean Bass Pro gift card? Cabela's really effed up selling to the king of overpriced sporting goods. Johnny Morris.

Lots of negative results since Bass Pro takeover. The employees are not happy with the new ownership either. Get it together Bass Pro! You're losing customers by the droves.

Cabela's used to be great but now they jacked up all their prices. and their giftcards will expire learned that the hard way $300 gone so far.

How are they expiring? There is no expectation date on gift cards. What are they saying is the deadline to use the gift cards? When Cabelas got bought out they stated their gift cards will still be valid as usual....????

You use to be able to talk down some gun prices on used guns but I had a worker tell me ever since bass pro merged with Cabelas they will no longer negotiate prices.

ppl live in CA can only order ammo online through basspro and pick up in store. They know that you probably will use cabela's gift card, so they reduce the ammo diversity as wel as firearms. Meanwhile, increase the price in ridiculous level. Their explanation might be we r focusing on fishing, while cabela is focusing on shooting stuff. Sure! But if you ask whether it's possible to order ammo from cabela and ship to basspro. Their answer is always the same., "there is a lot of things we r working on since merge. So, it's still in progress..." really? These two companies have been merged for about one year, right? Is it still worth to buy GC and shooting stuff from this company?

Freedom munitions is on the way to bankruptcy, as well as Remington? (IIRC). Maybe this is a sunset industry, and less and less ppl has passion in it, including these retailers such as basspro and cabela. Cabela used to have their gc 20% off on eBay few times a year. Now, it's available almost every week. Why? Basspro knows its teammate is doing in this way. well, that's what it responds.

Anyone else notice Cabelas raising prices on a lot of stuff recently? I bet this is the Bass Pro effect.
-Berry’s Bullets .223 500pk was $41.99 now $46.99
-Berry’s Bullets 9mm 115gr RN 250pk was $21.99 now $24.99.
-Hornady .223 55gr FMJ-BT 100pk was $9.99 now $10.99.

Some of their powders also went up $1

I was actually gonna comment that this deal was perfect, since Cabela’s normally marks their product up 15% over average prices.
