Proof? Or maybe an explanation

You have to create a raise account and the discount is only in raise credit not cash. Then you have to deal with an onslaught of spam for signing up

Finally unloaded some cabelas cards after essentially being unusable after Bass takeover and their price increases and lack of deals.
Used on Federal Power shok 308
Had Cabelas price match their $23 a box (!) 308winchester to Sportsman Warehouse $15
I got my Cabelas cards prior to Bass takeover at 20% discount so that makes it $12 a box
Then Federal is having a 5$/box rebate (10 box max)
That takes it down to 7$/box for nice soft point 308
Perfect for whitetail or ANTIFA during CW2.0 after Trumps re-election.

To be clear....I won't be buying more Cabelas/Bass cards. Their deals suck in general since the Bass takeover.

Cabelas and Bass is Trash! They charge MSRP OK everything! Their guns are $200-500 over retail price you find online! Only old men still buy their crap and keep them in business.

They still match prices for the other stores and gun shops within, I believe 50 miles of your residence. They also price match Brownells and several other online companies. Just find a good deal and then use the discounted gift cards after a price match.

You have to buy the Discounted gift card then enter the promo code and it adds up to a bigger discount. minimum of $150 purchase. if you buy the cash back card it only gives you money to spend on their website.

You got that right. Basspro ruined Cabelas! I use to go to Cabelas 3-4 times a week. Now maybe once a month, if I'm lucky.

When you buy something with these at Cabelas, do not use a credit card to pay for the remainder of your purchase. The reason is, when these gift cards show up later as being purchesed with a stolen credit card number, Cabelas will charge your credit card for the gift card amount in order to get their money back. Been there, done that. If you buy these on this type of website, you better use them fast because there is a very good chance they were bought with a stolen credit card.

I bought some Cableas gift cards off ebay a couple of years back and it tuned out they were purchased with a stolen credit card. I eventually got my money back from ebay. Had to send them a copy of the letter from Cabelas saying they were no good. Took around 3 months to get the money back. Not worth the hassle.

Wife wanted a Glock 42.
At Cabelas... $499 plus tax.
Online... $329 and no tax. Even with gift cards, makes no sense. Maybe I'm missing something?

The ebay 80 for 100 gift cards say limit 3 per household. Is that more of a 3 per order or they will no sell at all after 3? Any help would be appreciated.

paypal ebay credit card companies etc etc do not help you or refund you in any way if it turns out your "gift cards" are bad...... buyer beware,

Hopefully cabela's will have agun sale worth using these for sometime in the next year or two. Bass Pro Shop really got rid of any half-decent deals they used to run in my opinion, been sitting on a stack of Cabela's gift cards for over 6 months waiting....

Protip: If you contact Cabela's chat support on their site, you can price match guns on like a dozen sites including Academy, Brownells and others (including ordinary nsales prices, but not coupon codes or closeouts or out of stock, etc.). Then use the discount gift cards for an even better deal.

I did it with my AR-7. Got it for $205 on a price match from Academy and used gift cards I got for 25% off.

I just did this with a 10/22 takedown on sale at Sportsman's Warehouse (they only match certain online retailers).

Find deal.
Find same product on Cabelas.com
Open a CS chat with Cabelas.
Link the sale to agent.
Buy the item (using gift cards) and send chat agent the order number.
Price adjusted.

With the rampant mail theft from even the locking boxes it isn't worth having the equivalent of cash sent through the mail.

Wow, I mean I know it happens but it must be a small town with nothing better for the young kids to do besides steal stuff, do drugs and get in trouble, it takes a community to change that get them involved with stuff to keep them busy, ie sports, boyscouts etc., I would definitely put a camera 20ft up on a pole through with wifi and catch the little sh/!$

You must live in a bad area. Living in Mid/South Missouri for 30 years, we have never had mail or a package 'disappear'. But yes, if you have this trouble, don't buy through the mail.

Surprisingly enough this is Wasilla, Alaska. Rampant mail theft, drugs, etc.

Wow! Our ship the USS McKee docked in Seward about 30 years ago along with the USS Alaska. That seemed like a family-friendly town. That's not too far from you. Then again, Furguson MO is only a few hours from our town.

I still got a couple of gift cards laying around and don’t know what to get from them since their prices are higher than the recent deals. I did placed the Vortex Scope order recently but they played that out of stock game and all orders were cancelled. How the hell you cancelled customers orders then still listed them in stock now at full price? That’s not good business ethic. Once I am done with the gift cards I got last year, I am done with Cabelas.

That word you keep using...I don't think it means what you think it means.... A company, with shareholders, with the goal of making money. Not communist.

I think Liberals and hippies think the same way. Big Business = Communism. They have never lived in China, Cuba or the USSR. They don't know what Communism really is.

You're absolutely correct! They seem to think Nazis ["National *SOCIALISTS*"] are politically right-of-center too, instead of being merely right of Communism. But then their thinking is so far left of center that might explain it...

Completely agree, their logic is skewed and I truly believe after getting my college degree is Sociology that there is a scientific explanation for their thinking, its not just brain washing, I think it is the way their brain works, acts on a chemical level. Or they are just using a different hemisphere or side of their brain that controls rational thought process!! I digress

I love when the Democrats accuse PRESIDENT Trump of being a NAZI. As if a group of armed uniformed men would break their door down, bash the men's heads in with the butt of their rifles, rape their wives and daughters in front of them, and leave their home burning in flames. Isn't that what Nazi's did? Or was all that a fairy tale. If the Nazis acted like Trump, I really don't see what all the fuss was back during WWII on the Western front.
