A few years ago you would get the Damascus version for the same price. With better steal this would make a great picket knife. With that crappy steal it is easily $20 over priced though.

Different, slightly better steel, but you are right.
Not a deal... standard stainless model used to sell for just over $30. Can’t see how blackwash justifies the pricehike.
Skyline is a great knife tho.
If you want a better deal, KershawGuy.com has Blemished knives regularly. You don't get the warranty, but I've never had an issue with a Kershaw anyway.
