The backpack itself is made with durable zippers with Hypalon® pull tabs, designed to eliminate the unneeded hassle small or fragile zippers can cause. The back is padded for comfort, as are the fully adjustable backpack straps. The bottom, made of more high-traction (slip-free) Hypalon®, is abrasion and water-resistant. All this is designed to make a backpack that not only can protect you from threats but also be reliable for common everyday usage.The backpack comes with three main pockets: The large main pocket, with dimensions of 18”x13”x9”, which also comes with a laptop sleeve, and the medium and small pockets, which are 10”x10” and 6”x10”, respectively.Meanwhile, the Freeman Carrier (see specifications below) is ideal if you have to enter an unexpected dangerous scenario while keeping yourself covered, with its slick design made especially for the included 9”x9” Level III Steel Plates. The special feature of this carrier and plate combo is its size, its rugged and low-profile nature making it easy to take where a heavier or bulkier armor setup would be inconvenient.But this special feature does not at all compromise the quality of protection; the 9”x9” Level III Plates, while covering less area to allow for easy transport, is still completely capable of stopping multiple hits of a 7.62x51 M80 NATO Ball (.308 Winchester) and special threat tested to defeat 5.56mm M855/SS109 (Green Tip), at speeds of up to 2,780 FPS.
