7.62x39mm Brass Cased 124-grain FMJ Yugo Milsurp M67 Ammo By the Crate! After a hard-fought experience running the Axis out in World War II, Yugoslavia spent decades during the Cold War stacking guns and ammo deep in the event of WWIII, which never materialized. This left the country with bunkers full of sweet gear that have slowly been emptied over the years and we are seeing some of the last Yugo-made 7.62x39mm ammo still available. These are M67 loads, carrying 124-grain full-metal jacketed bullets loaded in annealed brass cases-- NOT STEEL CASES-- using Berdan primers. Warsaw Pact buffs will quickly recognize the M67 lead-core projectile as a superior bullet design over the original Soviet M43 load as it produces a better profile, with slightly more speed and inherent accuracy than the Russki round. Plus, as there is no steel core, these are range safe. When it comes to packaging, this ships just as a Yugo infantry squad would have got them if the balloon went up: as a crate of 1120 rounds. The original Tito-era Commie packaging includes a green-painted wooden crate, complete with yellow stenciled Serbian Cyrillic script. Once cracked open, this Cold War relic yields a sealed "sardine can" holding 28 boxes, each with 40 rounds on 10-round SKS stripper clips-- perfect for if you have a Yugo SKS around! Even if you don't, once you run the rounds, you still have 112 leftover stripper clips, a slightly beat-up green wooden box with lots of character, and the smug satisfaction that capitalism won in the end. Act now. Feed your AK, AKM, AKS, Draco, Z-PAP, Mini-Thirty, etc. Once this stuff is gone. It's gone"

I divided and cached 2 crates of this back in the summer of 2008, in anticipation of a Demoncrat Presidential victory. Two caches of 20 Hungarian 20 rd magazines, with a Romanian WASR-10 and 300 rds each; along with 8 more stratigically placed caches of 210 rds and 2 each of the tanker mags. Yeah, just like a video game.

It was already up to $280 then . After 8 years of that regime, then their minions entering the firearms market during President Trump's 4 years, the price of this stuff has never went below that price during the summer of 2008. So, whoever asked if it was $99 last year, you have no knowledge of any sorts. For everyone else balking at the price and quality, good luck fighting the Chinese with your .22 lr.

Its 60 year old surplus ammo. Yeah it has a hollow cavity like 7n6/5.45 ammo for yaw, but hang fires suck. Even sealed primer ammo can still go bad after 30 years. Click, one one thousand, 2 one thousand, 3. BANG.
Better off with old school pirate musket at that point....

I shot up a bunch of this a year ago. I had purchased 200 rounds at a gun show back in 2010 or so. It all went bang just fine, even though some of it had started to corrode as I stored it on stripper clips in a closet.

It was very dirty, and not exceptionally accurate, but it worked. I think I paid like 20 cents per round for it back then. I would definitely pass at $0.62 per round.

Why store in a closet instead of a climate controlled environment, how much was it a year ago $99.95 ?

I loaded it on strippers and it sat in a bandolier, in a corner, forgotten about for 9 years. Still shot fine.

This is exceedingly average ammo from an accuracy and quality standpoint, and it's both dirty and corrosive. Pass. At 25 cents per round, you'd still have to twist my arm.

Hint to Dumbo Ears, When I paid that was when it was priced @ that, I haven’t bought because I prepared then and don’t need to buy it at rip off prices now like you. Now on firing a gun, I ran more down range then you prob. have with your 75 Red Ryder pop guns you fired with a cork attached to a string and the left over Carnival Clown water pistols, On Trump taking office - When your hero Afghan Briben gets shit canned for incompetence and all legal votes are recounted and fake ones like the news you watch gets circle filed, as for the American truth teller that your minion bans ie. WokeJoke,Cancel Culture, big tec, he should make a pillow for you so you dont loose your dentures when you bite it… Did those answer answer your questions? Dualdual, About the 7.62x.39, I used to use it and bought a good amount but it’s been a long time since I have purchased or slung any down range so I can’t recall but I would figure some where around the same as .223 +/- ? ? Don’t get hyped up about getting it and pay rip off prices hang in there it will be reasonable when Trump gets back in and this time the elections won’t be stolen. ^5 take care.

In all seriousness my stock of 223 was $0.14 a round after the Federal rebate back in 2018/19. I picked up 9mm for $0.095 in March 2020 both from Academy. I figured there would be a shortage coming pre-pandemic. I lived through the Obama presidency shortage and noticed the signs early so I grabbed a bunch of primers as well. With any luck this too shall pass in 3-4 years, until then keep your cash.

So for two weeks (over black friday), on only a couple of SKU's, from a single manufacturer, if you bought in bulk, and picked exactly the correct retailer who was also running a sale, and received your rebate? My point exactly, blue moon type stuff.

    http://accurateshooter.net/pix/blkammo1801.jpg...

Wasn't the time under Obama the golden age of cheap ammo and guns? Other than right after Sandy Hook it was pretty much raining second amendments. LOL "Obama presidency shortage" where AR's costed $289 and AK's were less than $400. "Shortage"....stop, I just can't....HAHAHAHAHA.

Thats not how I remember it. I sold several ARs at a premium during Obama’s presidency. Couldn’t get BCGs at all to make your own ARs. Rumor was something about several manufacturers for BCGs went out of business during that time. PMAGs, forget about it they were selling for $100 a magazine on Gunbroker, it was nuts. Also that was during one of the biggest attempts to ban the common sporting rifle. Although, in full disclosure I was in a communist state during that timeframe so my experiences may vary from other states. So glad to have constitutional freedoms again!

I am pretty sure it wasnt a blue moon thing. Between 2018- Feb 2020 the prices werent bad and they had availability.

LOL...your memory is faulty. For the first year when all the little girls were screaming "he is taking our guns!" and for 6 months after Sandy Hook things were a mess but both of those times the buyers were overreacting, hoarding guns / ammo assuming the end was nigh. They were wrong. The other 6-1/2 years were waterfalls of ammo raining from the sky and rock bottom prices on guns. Don't you recall everyone and their mother becoming a garage AR-15 "customer builder" overnight? Things like that don't happen when there is zero availability. To be fair 90% of those went belly up because (1) they built crap rifles or (2) because you had one on every corning turning out home brew rifles with Anderson lowers and pic rails bought off Amazon thinking they would sell for $1000 when you could buy a much better PSA for $329 or DPMS for $399.

My current bulk stock is a bunch of federal green tip in 180 round bulk cardboard boxes.
I paid $40 each in about 2005 at a gun show so I bought a bunch...a whole bunch.
As long as you don't open the sealed plastic bag they last for forever.
I usually run handrolled in 70-90 grain so I don't use many, it makes a good safety backup though.

Yeah I noticed that too… as soon as I started reloading the availability wasnt as big of an issue. This time I stocked up on reloading supplies more than factory ammo and mostly shoot reloads now. The new RMR .224 69gr projectiles are so much better than xm193 or m855. Havent shot the newer m855a1 (lead free) version yet. Johnnys Reloading Bench did a recent review of the new m855a1 and it wasnt all that impressive (1-1.5moa) even with hand loading them with different powders.

Hopefully more primers start showing up so others can join in the reloading hobby. It helps the factory supply the more reloaders we get. I got started with the basic Lee Breechlock single stage kit and it has been great. I am using the APP for bulk depriming and the Lee 4000 now for bulk loads and even those are better than the factory military ammo for .223.

Once you really get into reloading you'll start noticing that lots of pistol powders are great in a 223, like H110, IMR 4227, WW296 and the like.
It makes powder easy to find.
I stocked up on primers when they were under $30 for a thou and since I have a 40mm ammo can full to the brim I ain't running out anytime in the next century.
I run a Dillon RL550, a RL1050, and a rcbs rockchucker for single stage stuff....and I have a corbin bullet swaging press which is something most shooters have never heard of (check into it).
All I need is some dead soft copper tubing and a few wheel weights or fishing sinkers and I can load hundreds of thousands of rounds.
It's called living in California in the 1990's and seeing all this shit coming from a mile away.

I was buying brass 9mm for $0.16 .45 for $0.25 and 5.56 for $0.27 way back in the before times of late 2019… must have been living under your rock back then.

About what? Lowered ammo prices, greater ammo availability, or the fact not a single person can find any voter fraud yet you are still paying money to listen to ol' Mikey promise to come up with the "evidence"...."next month?" How many "next months" is it going to take since Dec for you to realize there is no evidence and "next month" will never happen ;)

I'd call you a 'tool' but a tool by definition is useful...
