All semi-auto's can be ammo sensitive. I own many 45's including (3) Hi-Points. They all seem to like Winchester white box personal defense JHP in 230gr. The claim that hi-points do not feed JHP's is incorrect. You just have to find the right ammo. I hope this helps
$162 shipped for a .45 with a lifetime warranty? Say what you want about Hi-Point, but you can't beat this deal. I've picked up the .380,9mm, .40 and .45, have never had an issue with any of them. And if I did, I simply mail them back to be fixed. You won't find many people talkin shi$ looking down a barrel of any .45.
if the weapon firing the 45acp is a hipoint i'll talk smack about it all day. Hard to get excited by a pistol that won't shoot hollowpoints.
I'd just like to point out that American GIs have been dispatching America's enemies for right at 100 years now with the .45 ACP, not with hollow points.
I have several handguns, including a Hi Point .380 and a 1911 .45 ACP. I only wish it were legal in the People's Republik of Kahlifornia to buy and own the inexpensive Hi Point .45. I would have bought one of these years ago due to its low cost.
Hollowpoint or not, any .45 will do the job.
the 45 acp is only effective when fired. You don't have to worry about that if it's loaded in a hipoint

I understand the difference between a cheap gun, an inexpensive gun and a pos gun. It's a shame your to busy chasing the bottom of the barrel to appreciate the difference. You must live in a constant state of bliss judging by the size of your ignorance.
While I don't own or recommend a hi-point to anybody, I'd rather see people who can't afford another option at least arm themselves with one of these.
But I do think 99.99% of gun owners would agree, this sort of insane back and forth makes everybody look like an idiot and is unwelcome. Lets try to be adults and positive examples of what gun owners are on this very public site, if you don't like a deal you can always flag it down.
Any new info on this gun? I assume now we have this gun in a lot more hands. How is the reliability? Does it cycle with a variety of ammo?
