Certainly a good deal. But CTD was indeed one of the worst gougers when the going was tough so buy with your conscience. I wont forget and will not give them my business.
FYI Academy sells this (same item #AE223BK) for $429 currently online and in-store, you probably have a good chance at a price match if you're nice in store. I think they take another 5% off which can help with tax - maybe end up $300-310 after tax and have a clear conscience (assuming you've forgiven Academy for "hiding" MSR after events in the past - but that is another story).
I hear you there but the unfortunate part is many dealers price gouged during the panic times. ...especially the bigger companies
I agree and I remember them also but CTD was the worst in my opinion.

Look local. I picked up 1000 rd case of Federal Lake City XM855 Penetrators at my local shop yesterday, for $350. They had dozens on the floor. 0.35/rd is far cheaper than the online gougers are trying to get, and no shipping costs when you buy local.
Of course, All dealers are still thinking it is Feb 2013 price. The guns banning. lol
They are just testing the waters. If no one buys it they will eventually need to clear out the inventory.
Don't buy from cheaper than dirt.
