Interesting price. I have one of these Norincos in very nice condition that I've only put about 50 rounds through, about twenty years ago when I bought it. What should I ask for it? (assuming I could find a way to sell it without all the hoops you have to go through these days.)

U.S. banned norinco for their low price to protect local manufacturers, ironically nowadays norincos are way more expensive than others on the market
No, Chinese SKS are still the cheapest,
Chinese < Yugo < then it's a mix of the misc and Russian ones depending on quality and rarity ie Polish, Romanian, Russian < Armenian < West German

It’s called supply and demand. Supply is limited and demand has spiked. Therefore price goes up. Read a book.
This is not supply and demand. There are still tons of these in the 400-500 range. No one is demanding these so much that this justifies a $700 overcharge.
