Price of steel spiked in 2018. Then dropped and then rose again this year. Generally speaking though, price of steel for such a small item is a small percentage of the cost of manufacture because it is not like say a brake rotor or a sledgehammer where materials make up a large percentage. Also, the machines used to manufacture this item have probably churned out far more bcg s since 2018 and hence paid up for the investment. The logical conclusion in this case is that PSA can charge a much higher price because of demand, and because of lack of competition. Remember the time when PSA undercut the market, so that’s when the competitors who could not compete got wiped out. However, because of higher selling prices as of present, perhaps more people will renter the market and compete with PSA. MAY BE someone like bear creek Arsenal?

Bought the Nickel Boron version of this in 2018 for $80 at PSA...for the reference.

In 2018...9 mm was less than $10 a box, 5.56 was under .30 a round and you could buy a case of primers for under $30. I’m assuming you like reminiscing

How about the price of ink in the printers. They're going to inflation us to death.

You never buy refill printer cartridges, you buy a new printer with new cartridges in the box.
It's most always been the cheaper route.
You can buy a black cartridge for about $35 and a color set for about $50.
Tell me you can't find a brand new printer for $85....of course you can.

Can you imagine how many printers have ended up in landfills simply because they ran out of ink? I'm surprised there hasnt been some sort of outcry by environmental groups over this. Lol
