Ruger® MAX-9TM 9mm Semi-automatic Micro-Compact Pistol The all-new MAX-9 is a micro-compact CCW that's comfortable to carry, easy to shoot, and offers a few distinct advantages over the competition. First and foremost, it features an all-metal trigger with a unique trigger pull. Instead of the pronounced "wall", the MAX-9 features a smooth, rolling break with a very consistent 4-4.5 pound pull weight. Reset is short, audible and tactile, with a soft "click" to tell you that it's ready to go. Additionally, the MAX-9 offers the ideal sight configuration for a carry pistol, with a blackout rear sight and tritium day/night front sight. The tritium front sight is easy to pick up against the darkness of the rear sight, and provides you with a nice, bright aim point in all light conditions. The medium-textured grip frame features rounded edges along with a pebbled texture that sticks in your hand—but won't irritate your skin when concealed. The magazine release is made from textured metal for a nice, tactile feel, and can be reversed for left-handed shooters. The through-hardened alloy steel slide measures just 0.95" in width, and features the ideal serrations for easy operation. The black oxide finish provides superior corrosion resistance that holds up to daily exposure to sweat, etc. And the optics cut-out allows for direct mounting of JPoint and Shield-pattern micro red dots.
