This AR500 Armor Level III Plate is rated to stop six rounds of 7.62x51 NATO M80 ammunition and is special threat tested to stop 5.56 M855/SS109 green tip ammunition. It is made from AR500 steel and features their proprietary FragLock coating with an extra build up layer to help reduce spalling. This model features a flat profile that is great for use in backpacks.
