Upgrades and enhancements from the original TAVOR SAR include a new fire control pack with a 5-6 lb. trigger pull, repositioning of the ambidextrous mag release to an AR-15 location, a forearm with Picatinny rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions with removable rail covers, relocation of the charging handle closer to your center mass, a modular Tavor style pistol grip that can be swapped out to a standard pistol grip with traditional trigger guard, and a smaller, lower profile bolt release button.

Does anyone actually own one of these or similar models? I am not a real fan of the Bullpup's looks but I can see and appreciate their design and use. I am on the cusp of purchasing a bullpup rifle but have not made up my mind as to which make and model. This is one I had not had on my list so I am glad I came across this post. Id love to hear some real world experience and thoughts from GunDeals members. Of course I will go watch reviews and videos as well. I also am not sure about this price, whether its actually a deal or not so I will also check that too. Thanks!
Buy one and don't look back. I've had mine for a while now and put several thousand rounds through it. Nary a hiccup or problem. I've got a 8" suppressor on it that I built and, with the suppressor, it's barely longer than my 16" AR. My only negative (which is also a positive) is that it needs a few upgrades, like a new trigger bow/pack, a curved buttpad (although I really like nowosun's advice about the 18" and a flat buttpad), and, if you're planning on suppressing it, a gasketed port cover is a must. But, if you get the upgrades, you'll have one of the best rifles that you can get for home/self-defense. I fell in love with it when I realized I could operate it one hand and hold my baby at the same time. Suppressed, it shoots like a freaking laser gun: very maneuverable, but heavy enough to absorb recoil.
Bought an x95 2 years ago and absolutely love it. The build quality is top notch. Easy to clean, tool less takedown, bolt and all slides right out the back. This one gets way more range time than my other guns because it’s fun to shoot easy to clean and always turns a few heads at the range too. 15-1600 should be the price but right now you probably won’t find that anywhere.
IWI X95 is very easy to shoot with one hand, which is a clear advantage for home defense. It has the same length as an AR with 11.5" barrel, but the center of gravity is towards the rear of the gun so the shooting hand and shoulder create a stable platform. Reliability seems great. Not the most accurate rifle but accurate enough for close to medium range.
Personally, I would/did pick an 18" barrel model in FDE and a thin endplate. Due to the 26" OAL rule, IWI fits X95 with thick rubber endplate to make 16" barrel model compliant. An 18" barrel model with a thin endplate is barely longer than a 16" barrel model with thick endplate, which the extra 2" barrel length gives a boost to the performance of 5.56mm ammo. It also shift the center of gravity forward a bit, making the gun more balanced.
On price - I've seen it cheaper but not by much. It may take some time to go down to 2017 price level, if ever. Pick one up if it doesn't jeopardize other life/financial priorities, and do NOT rack up credit card debt.
