Why buy a 50rd box of overpriced ammo when you can buy thousands of rounds of overpriced ammo!

These comments....... lol

Also, ammo has been sold at or close to regular prices over the past 2 years. If you're waiting for an ammo deal on this site it will never happen. The good deals sell out within minutes of going live, they will never be up long enough for someone else to tell you about it.

Nope... still not low enough price to make me wanna buy any. Its so hard to believe $.68/round is considered a "deal".... this shit has to stop and the suppliers, manufacturers, panic buyers, and retailers need to put the pipe down and comeback to reality.... Im certainly glad I was smart enough to slowly stock up over the past 10-12 years. I would buy a box or two per payday and put in my ammo safe. Now I have a few thousand rounds of each of the common calibers. Would it be enough for a war? no but itll be enough to get me and my family out of town and harms way if shit ever did hit the fan like that. Am I a believer in such a situation? not really but to an extent that our safety could certainly be at risk but I dont believe we would be shooting our way out of town... like the movies. lol. I just like knowing I have enough ammo and firearms to protect my family from looters, rioters, gun grabbers, and any other violence brought upon us if needed. I do wish I had a bit more so I could feel comfortable to go shoot twice a month and keep my skills on par and polished but I cant bring myself to shooting ammo at paper right now. The other advantage of having a nice stockpile of ammo is, its as good as gold in case I need to barter some of it for other things. Even right now if I posted a "item wanted" ad and said I had ammo to trade, My phone would be blowing up with offers.
What needs to happen to get prices back down to reality is if EVERYONE literally stopped buying ammo for one week. I know that of in itself is a pipe dream, but if everyone stopped for one week straight, prices would start dropping drastically and very quickly. Unfortunately theres no way to facilitate that idea and theres always too many people with more money than brains. Where these prices dont really matter to them. They can and will pay whatever the price is.
Ok, well thats my rant. As always this is my opinion and I will respect yours. I simply ask you do the same.

Liked your rant, but words of wisdom brother; don't announce that you have a stockpile or lots of ammo to trade. It puts a beacon on you for criminals to rob you. Lots of stockpilers have been shot at the door and robbed by people they thought they trusted. There's always stories of stockpilers being killed and robbed, so don't announce it and tell NO ONE. In a SHTF scenario, you can't trust anyone and your own family can stab you in the back to take what you have. Even in a self defense situation, you still go to jail for shooting someone and their family can sue you or come after your family while you're sitting in jail. Dumb, I know, but it happens all the time, so be safe and stay under the radar brother. Also, if you take on a horde of rioters/looters, you will be labeled as a mass shooter and you will be giving the anti-gunners more propaganda to justify why we shouldn't have our guns and more people will come after you and your family. They did this to a lot of people depending on which state they lived in during 2020. Best to get your family out ahead of time safely before SHTF.

If by gun grabbers, you mean a team of highly trained/funded ATF and FBI agents coming for your guns, then don't take them on. They use flash bangs and full auto weapons if you pose a threat and you will be turned into swiss cheese easily and they are totally justified and you will be labeled as a crazy gun nut who tried to take them on. The media does not like us gun owners, and you will be made to look like a crazy person. Please don't think you're a one man army going to take on the ATF/FBI, you will die quickly and your family will be burying you. It is smarter to hand over your shit to them peacefully, and be alive for your family. You can always regroup and get more guns in the future, but your family can not get you back from the grave. Using your brain wisely is knowing which fights you can win, and which ones you can't.

I forgot who it was, I believe some general in Civil War history; when him and his men were ordered by the enemy to surrender their firearms or die, he ordered his men to lay down their firearms and were allowed to retreat. When asked why he ordered his men to do this, he said a quote along the lines of; "It is always easy to replace weapons, but it is not easy to replace good men such as these."

Stay safe brother, and keep your family safe. Good rant.

I respect your opinion but it sounds like you're not practicing with live fire. I would encourage biting the bullet for at least one or two boxes a month to stay sharp. Hopefully you are supplementing with some dry practice.
