I choose to not spend my money at this store.

This is the same price you'll find it at Wal-Mart...assuming you're quick enough to get it there. It'll ship in a single case of 10 boxes so I'm not worried about multiple shipments. I have plenty and when this shows up it'll be a welcome surprise. I waited 8 months for my DSG P-mags...I can wait awhile on this too.

This will probably ship faster than you expect. I back ordered the Remington .22lr 1,400 round bucket of bullets on 10/23 and it wasn't expected in stock until the end of December. It shipped on 11/07.

I'll buy a .22 rifle ...........the day the great .22LR gimmick is over and i can buy a case of "bricks" online.

This ammo functions very poorly in my Marlin model 60.

This ammo functions poorly in every gun I've tried.
To be clear it cycles just fine, but gives me the worst sized groups of any bulk ammo (including Thunderbolts), period.

very true....its also very dirty, even for .22 bulk. I would pick them over Thunderbolts, just because Thunderbolts tend to lead up my Mark III's barrel...but the thunderbolts do actually shoot better groups...scary lol

I shot a 525 rd box of JHP Remington .22LR today. I had lots of duds (misfire) when shooting with the Ruger 10/22. Many of the duds did end up shooting the second time around. Many of the the bullets are loose in the case. The ammo is also very dirty to handle.

On the other hand, very tight groups.

Reviews on this ammo is mixed, 5000+ rounds is a lot to be committed to if it turns out to be junk.

Reasonable price...but not really trusting their backorders...they have some that are 11months and admit they don't really know when they are coming in when you contact them. I have only ordered in- stock items and never had a problem, but have heard people getting hit hard on shipping with backorders.

Yeah could order today and not have it for 6 months or longer. I have been able to find quite a bit of .22 LR lately between a few Walmart stores. Today I got some CCI Stingers and I showed up at the store around 11 AM they still had at least 20 boxes, my dad went in couple hours later and bought 3 more said there was still 4 or so on the shelf after him. I know that isn't bulk but I haven't seen Stingers in forever.

Agreed.
Six months ago I ordered a back ordered trigger for a Marlin 60. It was supposed to arrive 25Oct2013. Well the day came and passed. I just emailed them as to the status of the trigger. Now it is supposed to arrive Sept 2014. LOL!!!!! Why allow back orders for an item not intended to sell for 18 months. LMAO!!!

Not really a bulk price on this ammo. 5500 rounds of this garbage outta be in the ball park of .03cpr.

The real savings start when midway ships your back order in several shipments and charges excessive rates for each of them.. Then come back and tell us what a deal this was.

I've never ordered multiple items from Midway, do they really dick you on the shipping like that?
