It's a tier 1 Zev. It looks like a decent deal and buds has been very good for me. I have no desire for a stippled gun though.

your right about the cost of the work, but I would still have to hold the gun before deciding if it fit my hand. The "seals" on Utube crack me up, I guess they tell people they were Seals. That Sig is not my kind of gun, it's too big and gadgety. If you notice it's usually a chubby guy who buys the Seal sig, which they don't even carry.

If you were paying for service you would not be shopping at Bud's. Not a deal anyway because you don't know who actually built it as it is coming from Bud's not directly from a custom shop.

This really isn't all that bad of a deal. G23's are $550 after tax. The adjustable aluminum triggers are a couple hundred bucks. You're getting custom sights, frame modifications and stippling & the magazine release. If you don't know what custom gun work costs, check out ROBAR or another high end Glock customization shop. It isn't cheap.

Not saying I'd buy one, but it's totally conceivable to have this much into one by installing parts yourself.. Remember you're paying for a SERVICE where a company sells and backs a complete package. Shit, I have almost $700 in mine and all I have are sights and a 3.5lb disconnector bar.

What's downright HILLARIOUS is how these Sailors thumb down a CUSTOM built, competition Glock, but would happily pay $800-$1000 to have a fucking ANCHOR engraved on the side or your Sig226... WANKERS!!!

I would have to shoot a $900 glock before I would buy one. Don't get me wrong, I have a g20 g3 and a g34 g4.. I love them. But, I don't have much faith in a $900 glock shooting nearly as nice as a sig.... With or without the anchor. I'm surprised you would diss the 226, there's not much to dislike about it... Glock and sig are favorites, but that's comparing honda to BMW... Doesn't make sense.
