$128? I'm sorry, that must be a misprint. Did you mean $28???

No deal. I just picked up the last three of these in FDE directly from Sig for $39.99 each, shipped, and no sales tax. The reason I picked them up is because they shipped with the Phase 5 Weapon Systems Hex-2 pistol buffer tube (plus end plate and castle nut), which works well with all other non-adjustable braces.

Who the hell is still buying the SB15? Is it 2014 again?!?

Spend the extra $15 and get an SBA3. Quick adjust and way more comfortable.

put on on my 74yro moms AR pistol and she loves it...
price isn't bad either...
but its from natchez :-( friggin traders
I could be wrong because I wont order from them but from what i'm seeing, maybe natchez finally lowered their shipping rates to almost sorta kinda actual instead of 5X their shipping cost

I ordered 3 of these a week ago for $119 each and they came in quick. I purchased the MI buffer tube and I really didn't like it. The MI tube, or maybe it was the KAK, added an extra inch space between the brace and the AR lower receiver.

The brace was made to butt up against the lower so the vibrations do not cause it to rotate. There is an indent in the lower that the brace fits into and with a space there it rotates too easily.

Also use Windex to get it on easier. Some tubes are tighter than others and just spraying Windex on the outside of the tube allowed it to slide on. When it dries, windows cleaner dries fast so you may need to add more, the stock will not budge.

I shot my two AR pistols this weekend with the brace, as designed, and it did pretty well. My 11" Noveske barrel was a little heavy holding it up but it was pretty accurate. Shouldering the pistol was perfect and provided the stability for the long shots. We got out to 600meters with the 11" barrel.

I've been wanting one of these for a while, so the free shipping, no tax, and a rifle bag pushed me over the hump. I place my order at 0930 on 7/11/14. You need to use the 603.418.8102 number, the other number is to Ryan's desk, and he can't handle the call volume. ;-P Good Luck! P.S. it will work for any (1.0-1.2) Mil-Spec buffer tube, 5.56 or 7.62.

Re..Ryans desk....yeah I think I got him also....nice guy....but it seems like Sig is not used to the call volumes that this is generating. Don't understand why this isn't a web order through their store with a coupon code. Kinda crazy.

I might have gotten through to Ryan as well. He's a nice guy, sometimes he bulk emails specials, and if I ask a question; he always replies stupid fast. Courteous, nice guy - credit to Sig. If anyone from Sig is reading this, give Ryan a raise...

I was told it's not a web order because they want to boost phone sales for the customer service end of sig.

re..."boost phone sales"....Uhhhh....Ohhhh Kaaay.... sounds counter intuitive to the ineternet direction...whatever

Well, hell just cut the prices of their guns in half and we'll give them some more phone business.

Kak and midwest industries make a dedicated tube for the sb15. Much easier install than most other pistol tubes. Length is about an inch shorter than an a1 stock.

If you have a pistol tube allready get some talcum powder and a swear jar.

I have mine on a Damage Industries tube, and fits great, it's finished inside very smooth, so less spring noise, and it even has a QD on the end which is still useable with the brace (if you need to). Very nice folks @DamInd.

Just to clarify to folks, the KAK tube ADDs inches to length versus using a normal buffer tube and thus makes it more comfortable for most people. I like the extra length because the brace works better for my long forearm as I use the gun with one arm (that's my story and I'm sticking to it).

Also the KAK tube diameter seems to be designed specifically for installation of the SB15.

I got in quickly this morning. The reviews of this bag are pretty mediocre. Multiple people reporting bad seams and stitching and backpack straps that rip off. If I was buying this bag straight up I probably wouldn't spend any more than $30 on this bag due to the reviews and that there are quite a few better bags on Amazon that I'd prefer at $50 or so. Since I can get an SB15 to the door at $125, I'm only considering this a $30 value. I imagine the first thing I'll have to due is get the wife to break out the sewing kit and reinforce selected spots for me. The free shipping turned the decision to a BUY, plus I wanted to get a SB15 before maybe the ATF wants to change their mind.

That was my thoughts as well (regarding the ATF changing their mind). Seems the SB15 is incredibly popular, possibly more popular than the ATF would have anticipated. Get it while you can.

Sig knew exactly what they were doing with this "brace". Tim from military arms channel on YouTube did a great review on "shouldering a handgun" where he talks about this.

The thing that really tilted me towards the SB15 is that an AR15+SB15 is considered just a pistol that I can carry (relatively) freely across state boundaries. In contrast if you go to the bother of an SBR there is all kind of possible paperwork, delays, and assorted risks involved with transporting/using SBRs at different states.

1 vote
0 votes

You know maybe it's because I'm a good 6 hours driving distance to the nearest state, hence it never occured to me; but you have a point. I own zero NFA items, but were I to SBR my AR, I'd be stuck in my home state with it... Good point...

I'm still going to print all ATF & SIG letters about SB15 and stuff it in my grip compartment. That way I'll have paper proof, just in case an official with zero knowledge of the law (regulation?) decides to inquire about it...

Just got off the phone with them (8:00PM EST, 7/10/2014), they still have these in stock and my order was placed as advertised for $124.95 for both the brace, bag & s/h. The total process took a few minutes shy of 30 minutes and 20 minutes of it was on hold. They advised that it'll ship out in around 2 business days. I'm happy so far...

PSA had it on sale for about $110 + $7 s&h, so I would've saved a few bucks over buying the last one Lambo had... oh well... it fits very snug over buffer tube, so set it to the length you like best, and use as you please...

1 vote

The $117 price out the door is the same on the PSA or the link I posted,
The only reason I posted it was because it was requested by a gun brother.
I'm sure those 3 are gona.
There really seriously are folks selling the, for $159 out there.

Just love the product.
I do have one complaint that may help someone,
My pistol buffer tube was sweetl the PWS . It was on back order where I found the best price....and not one online shop had one, Like some of their muzzle breaks.
The reason I share is to say, the tube is too sweet to let go. I would keep the pistol tube if I had to choose between the brace and the standard I'm keeping the tube.
It's bad ass. 2 quick detach points on the 4 and 7. They are made to tolerances for A2 buffer weights etc. They close the possibility of a wabbel. So to be short, my tube from that rig is smaller on the outer diameter. So I am going to have to use some 2 sided tape to sure it up because the brace is a little lose on it.
I noticed that the front of the brace on the face of the tube, on the bottom, has a pertrusion that fits into the dimple on the stock castle nut plate. So if your tube is a. Rock River and you have to force it onto the tube, when you seat it all the way forward it marries that notch TJ further reduce travel.
It's not perfect but way way better than a trust

So far I'm still a big fan!

I'm using a PSA pistol tube; wider to keep stocks from fitting... I was just looking for a PWS carbine tube the other day, ended with a Spikes' kit instead

$117 for a $5 chunk of rubber. BRILLIANT!

Of course circumventing the law for a makeshift SBR has to be worth something.

Look, I'm not against this, I'd buy one if it was $20, but calling it a F'N ARM BRACE?...GTFOH!

With your help, I will start a crowd funding project. For all my "friends" here at gun.deals, I am creating something that's similar to this, except my design loses the lame arm brace excuse and ops for a more sensible approach.

My design employs a tiny but USABLE compartment to hold postage stamps. It will solely be marketed as a postage stamp holder for AR pistols. While It does function exactly as a stock functions, we WILL NOT advertise or even mention that, in fact we will outright deny it because everyone knows stocks are illegal on pistols.

My product solves the real issues, the fight we all face by not having postage stamp holders on our AR pistols. So send me your money! Lets get this project started and help defend America!

Veteran owned and operated. Support the troops. ***MADE IN USA**

As a bonus, it can also be used to hold your legitimate tax stamp for your lawful SBR!

Disclaimer: ***USA*** pronounced "oohsa" Chinese for sweatshop.

Honestly, you are wrong, it's a lot cheaper than most really nice stocks. And so far this one has eaten recoil better than the $230 übR MAGPUL. It may not b your idea of good, but brother if you saw the construction, felt the cheek in the "broace 1 Stock" and the packed on. 7" upper.
It's. NOT a cheap bland price of rubber. I would do a 2nd pistol just to use another one
Do you have one to be reviewing?

On price, a comfy stock with features like a VLTOR will run you for $100 or so.I really got upset when Sig bought the patent and annouced $200 price, for that I get a stamp. I figured it will pribably drop some more, but I really wanted it in case it gets banned, especially in no-SBR states...

Hey Guys,
I hate buds, but this is a very very good deal and I only found ONE in stock on the net and the best I could find, even including out of stock ones, was $125 shipped.
I LOVE THIS BRACE, it comes with a copy of the ATF approval letter. And yes, you CAN use it just the way you think you can.
I can't post a photo on here can I?

Thumbs up for honesty. Just don't call it a stock, even if you bought it for that purpose.
