Additionally, it features Auto D-TEC technology that automatically switches the optic from solar power to battery power whenever it detects that there is no light to power it ensuring that your red dot stays on day or night. And if that wasn’t enough, the motion detection system will automatically turn the red dot on and off at the slightest movement to make the battery last even longer. Speaking of the battery, the SPARC SOLAR runs off a single CR2032 to power the 2 MOA reticle.

O-ring seals keep the internals protected from water, dirt, and other debris while the internals themselves have been upgraded to withstand heavy impacts and keep on ticking. It has also been purged to prevent fogging from extreme temperature changes and the lens feature an anti-reflective and scratch resistant coating.
