Introducing the IFLR-15 (Integrated Folding Lower Receiver). The 17 Design & Manufacturing IFLR AR15 Stripped Lower Receiver is the perfect base for your AR15 build. Machined to mil-spec dimensions, their lowers work with standard AR15 components and ensure the highest quality and parts interchangeability. The IFLR-15 has the folding mechanism machined directly into the lower receiver. All wearable parts are made from S7 tool steel which leads to extreme wear resistance and corrosion resistant coatings ensure your IFLR stays mint for years to come.
Additional features:
Upper tensioning screw- allows user to fine tune the fit of the upper and lower through the use of a nylon tipped tensioning set screw in the grip tang of the receiver.
Flared magwell angle- Wider angles in the magwell allow a more flared feel without increasing the width/footprint of the lower receiver.
Features a threaded bolt catch pin.
Comes with Specialty H1 Buffer, nylon tipped set screw, and assembled IFLR in stripped lower configuration ready for your custom build.

Beware, according to Primary Arms Cust. Service, 17 Design is Out Of Business. Many people including myself have received defective lowers. When attempted to contact 17D since January, no response to email and phone is never answered at 17D. Only when I asked, Primary Arms stated 17D is OOB.
All the while PA and other vendors continue to sell 17D product, PA stated “There is no warranty”. So purchase at your own risk.

Yeah, I live near their HQ. Unfortunately, it appears that their doors have closed for good.

Bought this when it was $220 a while back, fit & finish is good. However it uses a proprietary buffer that you have to get from them and some have said it wears out quickly. I cannot use my jp enterprise silent captured spring buffer like I would like to so buy knowing that.

anyone used a rare breed trigger in these with their H2 buffer?

I was able to get the TAG code for $15 off to work as opposed to the PTT code for $10 off. We'll see how the lower works out once I get it all built and range tested.

Unless you have to modify an existing gun (assuming you can't afford / don't want to buy something else) it really would be better to buy a firearm that was purpose built to fold / didn't require a buffer tube. There are lots of 5.56 options that are still AR-ish without needing to re-engineer the wheel. These folding adapters work a majority of the time however they are a huge potential point of failure. I will give this manufacturer props for integrating the folding mechanism into the lower.

Might as well get a deadfoot arms folding kit for $500 and be able to fire your weapon while its folded.

I purchased this and am happy with fit and fiction... lighter than adapters on a lower.... good design and craftsmanship but expensive...

Thanks for the constructive feedback. Considering the LAW folding adapter is around $250 IMHO this is really not a bad price as you get a built in folder lower, and buffer for less than the LAW. Providing the quality is comparable.
