Love the magnifier, it's smaller and a bit lighter than the previous full-size Juliet 3, but with the roughly same (or better) specs. Prior to receiving it, I was worried that it wouldn't be as good as the full-size, however those concerns were alleviated once I put this on my gun. The glass is very nice. Overall, It's a solid piece, feels well-made, it's lighter than the full-size which is nice. With the reduced sized footprint, you have easy access to your charging handle, more room to breathe up top. The flip over works great. The only thing I wish they carried over fro the full-size is the QD lever. This one is easy to attach/remove, however I like that lever a bit more. Nonetheless, I think many will appreciate this new micro as it has many advantages over the larger, heavier version with few tradeoffs.

If you want the magnifier, buy it separately and get a romeo5 for a few more dollars. It's far better in every way. Has shake awake, larger viewing field, and just generally feels like it's made better. As previously stated, the scope caps on the msr are annoying at best. The dial for brightness adjustment is pretty stiff and does not lend to easy operation. Sold my msr and bought a romeo5!

The Juliet 3 micro is nice, 4oz lighter than the Juliet 3. but its has a push button where the regular Juliet 3 you push hard to open/close. The MSR is junk. have to turn on, knob is small and hard to turn. flip caps are useless and hard to put back on. Romeo5 has auto wake, simple design and cost just a little more. I sold the MSR, got the Romeo5. perfect setup for me.

Great setup on a budget. Magnifier alone is worth it. It's a push button version for right handers (can be swithched for lefties). Comes with riser plates for sight/cowitness adjustment. Also there is no shake a wake feature!

You can pick up a 3x prism sight for about the same amount of money, and not deal with a 6 MOA aiming dot.
