Dumb question but, is anything extra needed to attach press to a bench/table? (Bolt plate, bolts etc)

Just ordered the Challenger Breech Lock kit for 99+shipping using the discount code. Not the best reloading kit out there, but definitely the best for the price.

Ordered one on Black Friday! Seems like a great intro kit which is what I was looking for... lots of great reviews from experienced reloaders out there as well! For $100 how can you go wrong..

How do you stack the codes?

Specifically says at checkout that you can't do both at once and it's not letting me. Coming out to 107.94 for me

Here is an good explanation for anyone who, like me, does not know the difference between the Challenger and 50th Anniversary kits.

As everyone else has said... i have this kit its awesome... a must have to begin to reload.. I use it for .223 and can press 100 rounds every 40mins... not fast but it works.

great deal. I've got one and it works really good. I paid more for mine when I bought it a few years ago.

If youre looking to get into reloading cheap this is your best bet. The Challenger press is the perfect 1st press and isnt bad at all for the money. Was my first setup and dont regret it.

Gunbroker has everything you will need to reload. 25 grains of Varget powder will give you a perfect round for 223 ammo.

I just ordered it. I got a reloading manual to go with it. Now I am just hoping I can find the supplies to start reloading. Any suggestions on where to buy the supplies and what else I need to get started?

Gunbroker has everything you will need to reload ammo. Varget is the best powder going for reloading 223. Just 25 grains will give you a perfect round everytime.

The little Lee scale actually works pretty well with the powder measure.. what I do when I can't find the formula for the powder I'm using on the powder measure is figure out the weight of the charge I want on the little Lee scale.. then approximate it on the dial on the powder dispenser.. then slowly dial it in by making small turns until it hits the weight.

I have some pretty expensive scales I've used to test the accuracy of the Lee, and it's impressively accurate for how crude of a setup it is lol.. it's a basically a ball bearing in a plastic housing.

You'll need a set of dies and a good electronic caliper to check overall length. Lee dies are good at around 30 bucks and you can find a good caliper for under 20 bucks on Amazon. I strongly recommend you also buy a good electronic scale as you'll tire of using the Lee scale after not too long. It is accurate however and will get you started. As to supplies, I find Cabela's is pretty good on prices. Try and buy your powder locally from your LGS or at gun shows, as the hazmat shipping charges make buying locally a lot more economical.

Yup, great advice. Also, supplies all depends on what youre loading. Read up on different powders to see what fits your application. Cabelas has powder sometimes and wcarmory sometimes has LOTS of different powders, but as said try and buy locally unlessyoure buying a lot, since the hazmat fee is anywhere from $20-27. Lee carbide dies are great for the money and I personally like Hornady dies a lot. Good luck! Its a fun hobby and can save you a lot of money per round if you do it right
