I have personally seen their testing facility and sold AE products! This is legit! This is the guy that really made body armor what it is today! Look up the owner Richard from Armor Express and the hundred of videos of him shooting himself in his body armor. Now that being said, ceramic plates have to be taken care of and small cracks can have a performance impact. I have no idea the condition of these plates offered here!

This plate doesn't seem to be NIJ certified or did I miss something?

On their website, the datasheet says it's certified. >> http://www.armorexpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/AE-Harrier-IV-final.pdf...

Says "NIJ Standard - 0101.06 Tested and verified to meet or exceed ballistic resistance as specified under NIJ Standard - 0101.06 plus Special Rifle Threats validated."

Big difference than BEING NIJ certified.

WooHoo is right. It's not NIJ certified, it's allegedly been tested to NIJ standards. It is NOT the same thing.
