Description

The GLOCK G48 compact 9mm pistol is designed to be a slimline version of the G19. It features the same length and height but has a much slimmer width to allow for better concealability. Housed in the polymer frame is a single stack 10 round magazine along with many other features like a reversible magazine catch and integrated beavertail. This slim frame sits tightly against your body making it optimal for concealed carry and features the GLOCK Safe Action trigger system and an internal drop safety, so you can carry with confidence. If you are in the market for a compact carry gun that is comfortable to wear all day without a large decrease in ammunition capacity, the GLOCK G48 might be the one for you.
Features:
- Slimline slide and frame with longer grip for added mag capacity
- 10 round single stack magazine
- Chambered in 9x19mm
- nDLC black finish
- Match-grade marksman barrel
- Fixed Sights
- Safe Action trigger system
- Standard U-notch Glock sights
- Reversible magazine catch
- Beavertail grip
- Includes two magazines and speed loader
The slide features their military tested nDLC coating available on their other Gen 5 models, however this time they chose to go with a black finish. The G48 also features front slide serrations allowing for more options when manipulating the slide and a beveled front edge that helps when re-holstering. It comes with the match-grade GLOCK marksman barrel with GMB rifling and precise tolerances for consistent accuracy.

Allllllmost bought one in Ca. Yesterday from $1,450.00 couldn’t do it. Felt like an asshole spending that. Maybe next year or another comes around. They are hard to come by here.

Maybe if police buy this they’ll carry off duty more. The more good guys with guns the better.

While there are restrictions, LEOs are not the only folks eligible to purchase Blue Label Glocks. Follow the link to PA and read the details. Some of the other comments here, posted below, also shed some light. Lots more folks are eligible for the discount pricing during Glock's current Blue Label promo.

Residents of Pennsylvania and West Virginia (with proper credentials) can purchase it at the same price ($358) from Markl Supply Company. (Or choose the G48 MOS currently priced at $398.09) The 48 is on page 4 of their price list here:
http://www.marklsupply.com/Handguns_c_119-1-3.html...
They do sell to individuals, but I don't know if they're participating in the "Salute to Veterans Discount Program" that non-retired Vets are qualified for.
If interested, it couldn't hurt to give them a call and ask.

Sorry to interrupt but Glock offers this promotion to Military Veterans from this Memorial Day to Veterans Day (2020) for the purchase of one Blue Label pistol per year. Depending on your Blue Label Regional Dealers (Can't go out of your region), these guns are very difficult to find due to high demand. I personally was luck to find a G19 Gen 5 and was out the door for $450.00. I did find out that Glock Management (Per Customer Service Rep. Michael) will allow you to make a down payment through your dealer to get on a wait list but there has to be a paper trail and do not forget your DD 214 so your dealer can validate your service. They will also have you fill out a simple form for Glock. I hope this helps. Pray that ammo prices go back to a normal price and be kind to one another.

Cops get a $100 discount for Glocks anyway. Nothing special here other than letting non qualified people know what they cant buy

You have to live in Houston and go physically into the location to show ID.

You don't have to advertise blue label pricing. If they're in, they know.

You have to be a resident of Texas for the deal.

That sucks BUT if they have this deal at PA it might extend to other gun stores near you who also run Blue Label specials. I could be wrong but I think they are the same (or close) from dealer to dealer.

Also, you can buy directly from Glock. Maybe they will honor the deal since you live outside of Texas? I'm going to try my LGS and see what they say.

Military and LEO only.
Blue label = boys in blue = blue uniform = coppers, fuz, popo, bacon, pork, and other orifices of the law.
State doesn't matter but you have to have a current ID from a law enforcement or first responders organization that is approved by Glock to purchase.
F'n duh man. Slope.

No shit you idiot. I am former US Army and I would assume Double_Tap would qualify too if he noticed the fine print of 'Texas only' one could only assume he also saw the HUGE FUCKING PRINT about Vets and LEO's. State does matter *if* you are trying to buy from Primary Arms...per the deals link you must testify: I am a resident of the State of Texas and I am willing to provide proof of residency in the form of valid, government issued identification.

Dude, the hyperlink I provided first line reads "*Salute to Veterans Discount Program." Did you think that also counts someone who sells Tupperware?

If you are still confused:
The Blue Label Program is available to the following with approved purchaser ID.
Sworn Law Enforcement officers with arrest powers, including Federal, State, County & City also includes retired L.E. officers with “retired” credentials (LE Department Picture ID front & back)
EMT’s, Fire Fighters, Volunteer Fire Fighters, and Paramedics (with Picture ID from department front & back)
Certifications alone are not authorized and do not qualify
Military personnel including Reservists and National Guard with I.D also includes retired Military with “retired” credentials
(Military picture ID front & back)
DD214/discharge papers do not qualify – If you cannot submit your ID please use our dealer locator to find a dealer in your area
Corrections Officers, including Parole and Probation Officers
(LE Department Picture ID front & back)
State Licensed Security Companies (Loomis, RAM, etc.) Also includes State Licensed Armed Security Officers Employed by State Licensed Security Companies (with Employment Picture ID from company front & back). Certifications alone are not authorized and do not qualify and must be fulltime armed guard. Private Investigators do not qualify.
Court Judges
LE Academy Cadets with enrollment documentation from the Academy
GSSF Coupon Recipients should contact GSSF for more information

Many if not most Glock dealers also run this same promo if you have the proper credentials .
