In their defense, this has to be the best trigger Taurus has ever put out. I love my TX22 but still waiting on a replacement barrel from them since mine has chatter marks throughout the rifling that causes quite a bit of fouling. Still love it for the $200 paid with rebate last year
although I do like my taurus handguns, "Taurus prescision trigger system" is not something that one expects to hear...
I picked up one of these because I wanted a semi auto 22 with more than 10rd capacity and it has good reviews... along with having/had many Taurus products that work well (but yeah some didn't). It actually does shoot well but the quality of the materials and in general this thing should not cost more than their 9mm pistols by any stretch of the imagination. As far as the trigger it has good pull but the side to side looseness is the most I've ever seen. Overall though it's a good little 22 and fun to shoot.
