A 4 5/8" barrel is adorned with fixed low-profile sights, a notch rear and a blade front, to reduce snagging when drawing this pistol. The barrel is attached to the frame by a hinge, which makes for quick and easy disassembling and cleaning. These pistols were designed for the Czechoslovakian military, though they never went into service as Nazi Germany occupied the country before the CZ 38s could be delivered.
