Description

Zastava Arms has a few decades of experience building millions of AK-47 pattern rifles and the new ZPAP85 AK Pistol really shows it. Imported through Zastava Arms USA, the new ZPAP AK-47 is built on a stamped 1.5mm receiver with a bulged trunnion for rigidity. The attention to detail on the new ZPAP M85 is superb from the properly set rivets to the deep blue finish that blends beautifully with the dark walnut forearm and synthetic pistol grip—all of which are US made parts for 922R compliance. The polished Nickel Molly steel bolt carrier and double stack bolt provide a stark contrast with the rest of the gun that really set it apart from the rest of the market in terms of aesthetic. However, aesthetic is not usually what most people look for when purchasing a Kalashnikov for their collection and the ZPAP M85 Pistol exudes function over form. It features a bolt hold open notch in the safety selector for locking the bolt open without a mag and even comes with a bolt hold open capable magazine, making reloads much faster. The hinged dust cover allows quick access to the internals like the heat treated fire control group and features Krinkov style sights on top. The Zastava USA ZPAP85 Pistol chambered in 5.56 NATO will make a fine addition to any level of collector while still providing the performance expected from a high quality AK at the range.

Zastava Arms USA was established in 2018 to more easily import the high-quality AK-47 pattern rifles and pistols into the US Market. Utilizing the experience, technology, and quality control that Zastava Arms has been developing since 1853, it has never been easier to add a Kalashnikov pattern firearm to your collection that you can depend your life on.

I remember when a coke with real sugar was a nickel.

Yea but there was a nickle deposit you got back when you returned the empty bottle....and they were small bottles.
They did make great targets though.

Paid $400 for my PAP 85 and 92 three years ago that's imported and actually produced in the same place that has made arms for the military for over 160 years. These U.S. made replicas cost almost 2x as much.

This is also Serbian made 100%. The prices have gone up on all AK’s. But these have been cheaper than their 7.62x39 equivalents for awhile

If you want it, buy it. Chances are, you can make/earn the dollar difference better than manufacture this firearm. To paraphrase Morrill : Like Liberty, guns never stay where they are undervalued.

Anyone who is into AKs isn't going to pay a premium for a US made AK... They're going to go for the real thing.

Yes, but if they want this one, the ‘worth’ is in the desire. Worth is whatever someone is willing to pay. A premium can be defined by market demands, supply, quality, etc. One woman’s premium may be another woman’s bargain.

These aren't worth it.... Using your logic people should buy a polymer Taurus that's selling for $1000 because maybe there there's someone out there who'll be willing to over pay for one.

Not should, could. Look at it from the seller’s POV. If someone wants what a seller is offering, even at a premium, then why should the price be lower.? Look at current market, wanting something now, you pay”now” price. There may be a day for $1k Tauruses.

You're making zero sense. If you were in real estate or in stocks, you'd be broke. You don't pay any price for any product just because there might be a chance one day sometime in the future someone might pay for it. Anyone with any sense looks at comparables, pays attention to market trends, and takes a plethora of other things into consideration.

“If you were in real estate or stocks” Hahaha. By real estate and stocks do you mean a double wide and a bank account. Cause that’s about how smart you seem. You and Biden will get along great

@LibtardTbagger69
When people don't have a valid argument and a low IQ, they have to resort to child like, corny, and elementary name calling. They have to attack the person instead of the person's argument. I couldn't give a rat's ass about the silly insults coming from an internet troll. You notice that everyone else here, you excluded, is having a respectful debate of opinions. You failed, try again...

Friend, I think there is a misunderstanding. I’m taking the POV of the seller, I even stated so. So I would ask any price based on the “plethora” of conditions. It’s a cornucopia of buyers out here. That’s why I’m not “broke”. CCCO

I'm saying that there isn't a "cornucopia" of buyers out there for these. I was mistaken and thought these were an U.S. variant, but these are imported sense why they sold out. If these were U.S. made, they wouldn't be desirable at the price of $750. I don't care if you THINK they're buyers out that would pay $750, $1750, $2750, 1,000,000, etc for one.

Not what I think, what a seller thinks. You don’t know me, mistake #2. It’s the game, not the gamer. Sold out. Seems that there are plenty of buyers out there at this price point I guess the seller should have asked less and made less.

If you read, they are sold out because they are in fact imported and not American made like I originally thought and stated in my OP. What buyers think don't matter. It's what sellers are will to buy that matters. If these were American made, they WOULD NOT BE SORT AFTER at the $750 price point. That's the same price point imported ones are selling for.

You can argue to you run out of breath about what's in the mind of a seller, but it's irrelevant. It's common sense why a seller might price higher than what any else is willing to pay. Obviously they "think" they get their asking price. That is irrelevant. What's only relevant is what buyers are willing to pay. These would have been overpriced if they were American period.... They would have been the same price as the import PAPs that are still available for purchase. It's like you're trying to argue that there's a market for a replica that's at the same price point as the readily available real thing. If you think that, you know nothing about AKs or their market.

I know the seller sold out at this price point. In this environment, I’d bet the price will rise with a good possibility of another sell out straight through November. You needn’t know all about the mdse, just understand the mkt. That I’d argue all the way to the bank!

So, basically saying you're the same kind of skum sucking bottom dweller that most sellers are right now ?
Yep, that's exactly how that reads.

Basically, I’m not. Basically I’m explaining why this price is being sought, basically.

I understand you slug. You’re talking about supply and demand. Anyone who doesn’t understand that doesn’t deserve to hold in their money. It’s key to game theory which is basically what you are talking about

Based on recent polls, there is an increasing likelihood that you will work the same number of hours for less take home pay and with fewer gun rights in 2021. Won't that be great?

What state do you live in WooHoo? California? Your fake “wokeness” wouldn’t get you anywhere where I live. We avoid people like you in fear of losing IQ points from simply be around you.

It’s odd how TDS blinds folks to logic. “45” may not be the very best champion of 2A rights, but how can any one argue that his political opponents would be any better? A dog in the hunt is better than no dog. A pit bull makes a lousy hunting dog, lol. JOMO

So because Hilary would be worse, we must except all the antigun be Trump does? That makes absolutely no sense, and one has nothing to do with the other.

Don your an idiot, what other choice do you have? You and other hillary loving morons almost won but you didn’t. I didn’t bitch when Obama was prez. If you like gun like your presence on this app suggests then vote republican and stfu

You want a 2A sundae consisting of a scoop of vanilla ice cream(Hillary) or a sundae w/ everything but possibly whipped cream or a cherry on top(Trump). In regards to the antigun fight, I’d never “except” less than my full 2A rights. But, would rather work w/ a pronounced supporter of said rights than an avowed opponent of them.

Exactly, I’m sure Hillary Clinton would have been much worse for 2nd A right. She would have picked 2 Supreme Court judges who are also against 2nd A rights. But for some reason WooHoo, and many other Never trumpers forget that. It’s like they can only see half of the picture

That would would be as safe a bet on what Hillary would have done as would be a bet that a light comes on when she uncrosses her cankles. *think of a refrigerator

Biden WILL come for the guns, make no mistakes about that.
That is the main reason prices and availability are shit right now....not covid.
Hillary is a carpet muncher and that is why lgbt xyz...whatever... is getting shoved down our throats.
George Soros is the one behind it all....he's the money man funding all this shit.
Don't listen to the mainstream news, gawd it's a fucked up world right now.
