why does this keep getting posted.
not a deal.

it's say it ships in 1-2 weeks, most other vendors are slammed with orders and it takes them 3 weeks to ship out anything. Please, point us to a better price currently, I'm sure everyone would appreciate that.

There is only 1 ammo can and shipping in $8.00

After taxes and extra $8 shipping fees round came to 38 cents. I can preorder 5.56 stuff from other retailers cheaper than that. Like 4-5 cents per round cheaper.

Yep! Cabela's, Bass Pro, and Gander are the worse. Dont know why they even bother posting here.

Back ordered just like everything else! Don't expect supplies to be back until Summer 2013. Also expect new prices well over $400/1000rds. Thanks Democrats!

What's so bad about this deal? $219.99/600 rounds = 36.665 cents per round for Federal Premium ammo, and it comes in a storage box (not the best, perhaps, but good enough for the time you'll be using it in). Anything under 40 cents a round shipped seems to be good nowadays.

bad is that 3 months ago this was selling for 26 cents per round

Doesn't look like it's going down again any time soon... suppose I'll wait for the next great .223/5.56 deal, though; I've got a few weeks or so before I can put my AR-15 together anyway.

Thanks.

What kills me is, at the beginning of the year they were selling PMC at local gunshows for $4/box.

What kind of AR are you putting together?

Looks like it's going to be a New Frontier Armory complete polymer lower (probably going to pick up the two I ordered from the pawn shop next week when my M&P gets in), a PSA upper (their 16" midlength madness version in the lightweight profile), a FailZero BCG (might even throw the hammer in too), Core15 charging handle, and MBUS rear sight.

When prices get realistic again (please Lord let it be ASAP) I'll see about picking up a metal lower - probably a Spike's blemish lower whenever AIM Surplus gets 'em back in - and maybe a AR57 upper for my brother depending on where he decides to move after he graduates. (Signs aren't looking good so far - seems like he'll be going from MA to CA, or bad to worse.)
