Has anyone been able to get the coupon code to work with this bundle? When I tried today 11/4, it says code is not valid.

I bought this. Also the 3-9x. Sold the binoculars for $110 each on eBay. Sold Scopes for $105 each. I did check them out. Very clear glass. Very great quality. I never opened the binoculars. If I needed another scope. It would be a Fuji.

This is A WONDERMUS DEAL. I took the gamble..... I absolutely can NOT BELIEVE the quality, the GLASS on da boat of dem... Unbelievable, really it is.... I'll be mounting this on an old school cool Marlin 336 20" 35rem... It's why I got the 1.75x model.... I'm going to mount it as low as possible and do away with the irons... I know it's a jap scope on a lever action, but it's not as sacrilegious as we think it is.... I will say, the listed reticle was not the same, but I'm glad of that actually.... Both pieces are made in the Philippines w/Japanese glass. I tell you what..... Going outside, from a 68° house, to a 95°/95% humidity Louisiana day, while my $1000 trijicon accupoint completely steams up, this 150$ set does NOT!!!!! HOWS THAT FOR COATINGS? it may get juuus a touch of steam, maybe 3%, if that... Compared to about 80-82% on the mighty trijicon, which I also love. The reticle is very thin with a few ele/win hash marks on mines one.

BUY THIS!!!!! The scope alone should be worth twice this. I'm thinking HEAVILY of buying the 3-9x40 combo, just to have, I might could sell the binos and make my money back from the second purchase. I will say, the packaging of the scope just seems, i dunno.... Cheesey, haji like, harbor freight like...I dunno... While the bino packing seems like something you'd pick up at some Walmart electronic department inside a display case, locked up... .. I was so happy with all this, just last-night/this morning, I was watching CANNON thru the scope @ 1.75x.... absolutely crystal clear. Thanks for listening everybody.

Just about all scopes steam up from cold to hot. I tell you what.... Why don't you go buy one, and see for yourself?

Any decent scope should be purged and nitrogen filled (or other inert gas) so it CANNOT fog up unless the seal is broken (by accident or defect).

An internally fogged scope is a POS or needs service.

Tell you what sweetheart.
Take ANY scope and put it in the fridge and leave it for 2 hours or more.
Now take it directly outside on a 80*f or warmer day.
It WILL steam up and it has nothing to do with quality of scope, coatings, or whatever gas it might be filled with.
It's physics 101.
Go back to school.
Leupold, Swarovski, Zeiss, Weaver, Vortex, Kahles, IOR, S&B, Hensoldt, I own them all and know enough to leave them alone for a few hours while the internals warm up to current environment temps before use.
Glass lenses will all fog with sudden temp changes, plastic lenses will not.
Just like a high end stringed instrument, you will break it if you try to use it directly after a sudden extreme temp swing.

You do know they PURGE scopes with nitrogen, Argon, etc and there is ZERO moisture in (or any other element for that matter)??? That is the purpose of the PURGE. Zero moisture = nothing to create steam (which is water in a gas state). Ask you physics 101 teacher how do you get water vaper from a Noble gas..."sweetheart."

I think you are confusion CONDENSATION on the outside of the lens and "steam" internally.

Also a "high end stringed instrument" is not a hermetically sealed system nor was it designed to be used in the elements. If your scopes break because you take them from a 80 deg truck to a 10 deg outdoor ambient temperature (pretty normal for hunting or field use)...it was made by Nerf.

I loved sending idiots back to school ;)

Good deal though

Yes he is stupid to waste time trying to disprove me...especially being he is clearly wrong and knows nothing of guns or gases.

Prove me wrong then. In a positively pressurized (over atmospheric pressure) nitrogen purged scope (remember, only nitrogen inside the scope) how will the internals fog up with water vaper? THERE IS NO WATER, in any state (solid, liquid, gas, or plasma). Nitrogen does not liquify until -346°F....are you using the scope at -346°F??? Are we hunting on the surface of Pluto? Your level of dumb dwarfs ants. Fun fact: They positively pressurize scopes so if there is a leak, the nitrogen will move from the high pressure (inside the scope) to the lower ambient pressure outside of the scope. Leaking OUTWARD. Otherwise the air we breathe (full of this magical fogging H2O) would leak INWARD which would lead to the problem you are describing with your Nerf branded optics.

Adults are talking about real, gun related stuff then you come out from under your bridge with this "physics 101" crap that is INCORRECT. You are calling me stupid while actually being the party with zero knowledge on the subject. Much like the Glock "Blue label" program where handed your a$$ to you. You are the kind of person who tries to defend themselves in court on a capital murder case and think your years on reddit and high school drop out status will be enough.

Look dumbass.
Most scopes use argon, not nitrogen and it's inside the scope and has ZERO fucking bearing on what happens to the outside of the lense.
TAKE A SCOPE AND PUT IT IN THE FRIDGE.
THEN TAKE IT OUTSIDE.
Dumbass.

You are confusing CONDENSATION (imagine water droplets on an ice cold can of soda sitting outside on a hot day) and fogging inside the actual scope. You cannot prevent CONDENSATION on a surface (maybe mitigate SLIGHLY)….are you really pretending to be so stupid, this entire time you have misunderstood the topic? If so, that is a really idiotic way to attempt to prove your superiority. Yes, some scopes use argon and some use nitrogen. Argon is a truly inert gas vs nitrogen being inert under most circumstances. Nitrogen is far cheaper and more abundant so that is the reason many manufacturers use it over argon. You can find quality scopes in either camp, don't really care which is used "most" as that is not the point. You would not be debating this if you thought the subject at hand was condensation which has nothing to do with the INTERNAL purging process….got ya ;)

I don’t know what retarded thing you are struggling debate but I am talking about INTERNAL FOGGING. Nothing more and nothing less.

I really wish your momma would un-drop you.

I'm the one that started this portion of the thread. And nobody said ANYthing about internal fogging. If anything, it was in reference to external coatings, regarding "external steam". This person you are going back and forth with.... Was basically supporting my comment to another person. So you know some about physics.... Nice. Learn something about social structures & interactions. Ease up.

Sorry I misunderstood your point.

FYI, glass fogs...all glass....not a downside or a design flaw. I really did not think you would complain about how the universe works.

Change your tune to cover your ass...not a typical response from you, it's always the end response from you.
Gawd you are dumb.

Huh? That is what you did. I've been speaking from the beginning about:

"I think you are confusing CONDENSATION on the outside of the lens and "steam" internally."
"positively pressurized scopes"
"hermetically sealed systems"
"You are confusing CONDENSATION"
"only nitrogen inside the scope"
Etc

And I am 'changing my tune?' LOL....you thought I was talking about condensation on the "INSIDE" of a "positively pressurized" scope which was "hermetically sealed" with aa "inert gas?" Laugh out freaking loud...please bitch.

You know what, this is my fault. I gave you FAR too much credit. Your "physics 101" consists of your mother handing you an ice cold HiC juice box and you saying the "bowx is wet mama." That is your entire understanding of the different phases of matter and how they relate to temperature, especially when humidity is involved. Again, I should have understood the scope of my target audience's intellectual abilities before using big words. I apologize.

Read the 1st post from OwnTheNight01 and then read the whole thread.
YOU are the only person that has changed their response to feel better about how others view you....(I guess, I don't change my responses and can only speculate on why you do so).
You're still an idiot and only dig your own hole deeper.
Just shut up and leave it be idiot.

"Changed their response" Huh? You can't edit crap after a reply.

My first message in this thread: "Any decent scope should be purged and nitrogen filled (or other inert gas) so it CANNOT fog up unless the seal is broken (by accident or defect). An internally fogged scope is a POS or needs service."

What would Sarah Palin say....oh yeah, "DIG, BABY DIG!!!"

Your first posts you stupidly thought that filling a scope with a pressurized gas alleviates any and all chances of the lenses fogging.
Later in the thread you seemingly begin to understand that it does nothing for the outside of the lenses and that they can fog externally.
But.....WooHoo and understand in the same sentence should never be used, it defies logic and intelligence and is therefore used as a pun.

-Your first posts you stupidly thought that filling a scope with a pressurized gas alleviates any and all chances of the lenses fogging.

The inside yes, glad you agree. If not, please prove me wrong.

-Later in the thread you seemingly begin to understand that it does nothing for the outside of the lenses and that they can fog externally.

No, AGAIN you pretended we were debating a new topic. Noticed you never questioned a single big word I used. BTW, “outside” fogging is a force of nature. No brand could help, were you really thinking you could argue away condensation or “dew?” If so, I pity you. Laugh out loud at the thought.

-But.....WooHoo and understand in the same sentence should never be used, it defies logic and intelligence and is therefore used as a pun.

Your failure on that last sentence does not need a follow up...did just fine on its own.

This last bit is for you:
YOU are the only person that has changed their response to feel better about how others view you....(I guess, I don't change my responses and can only speculate on why you do so).
You're still an idiot and only dig your own hole deeper.
Just shut up and leave it be idiot.

Do you understand the word 'inept' and how it applies to you ?
Are you 12 btw ?
No one above the age of 12 uses the 'mic drop' routine as it is childish and shows an innate lack of intelligence.
BTW, eat my fuck and go play on the highway, never mind what your mom says, tell her I said it was OK for you to do so.

I lost you at "hermitically sealed system" and you are talking about an innate lack of intelligence? LOL! Really, LOL. At least you understand the reference of 'mic dropping' because I had to dumb down my banter for you to catch up. Glad to see it worked ;)

Look chief, I'm done with you. We'll of course until you try to pick, yet another fight, that you clearly were outmatched for. There is an old expression that comes to mind; 'don't bring a soggy marshmallow to a 40mm cannon fight.' *You are the soggy marshmallow (sorry, I know you needed me to explain this).

No, you lost yourself patting yourself on the back thinking you had done something intelligent.
You have done nothing intelligent but in your self induced illusionary reality you think you have.
You are nothing but a dweeb that thinks he is smart.
Thinking is where you fail.
You are not smart and only repeat what others have said before you....and they were not always right either.
BTW, if you reach around real hard trying to pat yourself on the back, look down, maybe you can fuck yourself while you are at it....hmm, food for thought eh ?

Thanks for proving my point. Is this 4 and 0?

But I am glad I was able to dumb down to a point where you could understand it. I'll try to keep our con·ver·sa·tions (oops, "bunch of words") to a third 3rd grade level or below: "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." How was that, still too hard?

Says the guy registered this weekend, apparently for the sole reason of trolling moi.

Glad your last 48 hours was so productive ;)

FYI, spanking bridge dwelling internet creatures only takes 10 seconds at a time. I can easily do it between other emails or during commercial breaks. Takes you hours to form (almost) complete sentences. I will give you credit though, unlike with Soggy Marshmallow, you have yet requested definitions of anything considered to fall within basic English vocabulary.

Cool story bro
Too bad there isn't another dumbass like you on this site otherwise I could troll him. Right?
And 'if' I had to time to investigate your user ID as you did mine, like I'm sure you do everyone else's, how many troll arguments like the one above would I find? 10? 20? 50? 100? Or is this just your first one? LOL! Like I said, your point was definitely proven.
And unlike you, I have better things to do with my weekend other than reading your foolishness. Bye~Bye

You words would state otherwise. LOL, actions speak louder than trolls.

Funny thing is, you nor Soggy Marshmallow have offered anything other than insults. I actually commented on the subject until you two derailed things...but I'm the bad guy? Odd how often the instigators pretend to be the victim as their last line of defense.
