For $10 more you can get the MOE Defender lower kit which includes the MOE grip and trigger guard as well as the Enhanced Polished Trigger and Hammer or add another $5 to that for an Ambi Safety as well. I've done builds with the classic kit and they work fine, but I prefer the MOE and definitely recommend the the EPT. Haven't installed an Ambi Safety yet so I have no comment there but I'll probably grab one for my next build.
I had a PSA and an Anderson kit side-by-side and the Anderson was surprisingly better.
Where did u find the CMMG kit for lower at?
I've used them in quite a few builds. Trigger is not as gritty as some other parts kits.
I bought one of these to go in the lower I bought from them. Got this early this week and looks like lower will be in Monday. I heard ok stuff from a guy at Academy. Any reviews from anyone here who knows? I was annoyed that the day after this shipped I saw a CMMG lpk for lower but eh well.
Its a good kit, id dare say a great kit. Went into my NFA lower just fine. Only issue was the mag release button, but thats a NFA lower problem that 30 seconds of filing fixed. Everything was decently packed, oily, small bits in a seperate pack. I got the version with Magpul bits for $50 last year, this was $40 last year, but not a terrible deal if you need one now.
